Enthusiastic, knowledge-hungry leaner, eager to meet challenges and quickly assimlate new concepts

hi, i am looking for a job in human resource / recruiting/generalist profile. but i a not getting any relevant calls even not for entry level jobs. what should i do ? i have gap of 5 yrs in my career because before i was not having authorization to work in united states now only i got EAD so want to start immediately but not getting any calls. :(

I would like to transition from sales, marketing to human resource assistant. What is a good way to make that transition without starting at the bottom as far as salary is concerned?
