I just wanted to let everyone on this website know that you should not give up on getting a job, someone out there will hire you, you just have to stay persistent and positive. The reason why I'm saying this is because I was persistent in trying to find a County job for almost 3 years. I finally got hired. No offense to those that has felt like no one is going to hire them, someone will always hire you you just have to find the one. I don't know how many people believe in God, but I am truly a believer of God and he has answered my prayers and let me know to be patient and persistent and do not give up for He will reward you at the end. Just pray to him keep praying and keep believing that someone will hire you. Trust me I was there I almost wanted to give up at least 10 times trying to find a County job or find a job that will hire me until I get that County job and you cannot let that discourage you, I promise it will pay off at the end if you just keep going. Trust me I'm a True Believer.
So, I got the text this am saying I got the job, needless to say,I was soooooo psyched!!!! Now,here's the question,and I want your TRUE opinion! I got the job at AC Moore Arts and crafts......but,my good friend IS going to be my manager and boss!! She already told the top guy of the company that we were friends,and it was cool,all good. How do you think that'll affect our relationship....if at all?! My bud was like"I'm not gonna treat you like just an employee,I'll be how we are when just hangin out,but with a hey Jen,would you please do this or that?" Has anyone ever worked a job where their good friend was their boss or manager??
Background check came back, HIRED!!! I am now an employee of McKesson Pharmaceuticals!!!
I got the job got pay asked for,glad they valued an older worker!
I got hired today with a good company,, I'm so blessed this have have a long time coming and a long process.. Thank you lord!!!!

I have been on a rough journey in life due to my mistakes and wrong choices. I've always had a superficial relationship with Jesus, always "walking" with him so God can bless me with something I want or want done. When it didn't happen, I'd give up and continue my sinful lifestyle.
Finally as I was trying to build another business, I told God that this time around I'm with him for real. I got serious. Woke up early, spent time with God, went through some rough revelations about myself and prayed that The Lord change me.
My business never really got off the ground and I really had some dark days. I didn't understand because it seemed that everyone else who was in the same business was very successful and I was following the same business model! Now I am in more credit card debt, NO job, another failed business! But I still prayed. My faith wavered, I was fighting with unbelief and doubt and wondering if God is who he says he is, but I kept pressing on. Through tears and frustration, disappointments and discouragement; I kept pressing.
Finally after searching and searching for a job, (I had to put my entrepreneurial efforts on hold) my temp service called with a temp job that was to only last for a month. I didn't want to take it but I didn't have any other options and it was $20/hr.
Despite how I felt, I went in with a perspective that I was going to do my best. Still doing my daily devotion in the mornings, I excelled at the job. My team loved me and I was a blessing to them. Unbeknownst to me, they were trying to get me hired permanently but the Director was stating there wasn't any room.
So a couple of ladies in my department were referring me to different internal positions that were hiring all the while I'm still job searching.
During this time I kept receiving "We don't want you" emails from jobs I've applied to; even from the internal positions. I was beginning to give up. I was tired, beat down, stressed out etc! My assignment ended up being extended twice. It was originally supposed to end 9-22-17 but my last day was 10-31-17.
I applied for one more position. This one I fell in love with! The HR Director reached out to me the same week and we had a great phone interview. The next Tuesday I had a face to face interview with the hiring manager and the Director of the department at the same time, so imagine my nervousness.
Get this they were trying to fill the position the day after my assignment ended and they had heard great things about me.
God is so amazing! My last day, my team threw me a party, decorated my desk, had a desert spread, the whole works. Also the Director of HR met with me and offered me the position for more money than I've ever made and with bonuses!!!!!! My drug test and background checks just cleared and I start Tuesday!
All during this time, I prayed, cried, lemented to God. I had bad days, horrible days and good days but Jesus gave me the strength to keep pushing and look how everything worked out!
I know this was long but I hope my testimony will encourage someone today. Even though it might be dark and it looks hopelessly, keep trusting in God. He will bring you through. Don't give up. Be blessed!
I finally landed on an accountant job for the non-profit organization of the county of Santa Clara. The pay rate is much less than my previous job but I'm happy to take this stable job. It's been 5 months of unemployed since my company went bankruptcy. I've been through so much pressure in job search, interviews ...and so forth. Thanks God I finally be able to get back to work! I wish all of you will soon land to your desirable jobs! Best of Luck!!
I went for an interview yesterday at pilot and was told to call back today and I received the job i start thursday
I just found a job at guitar store corporate office. I'm so excited great job great pay. I love music and this job will make me very happy.
