Wow. I am overwhelmed with feelings from all the wonderful post to me. I'm sitting here crying because I'm just so Amazed for all the positive, heartfelt post. Can't begin to tell all of you how great it feels to know people like All of you still exists. I sometimes feel all alone and you guys made me know people do still care. And I'm so thankful and blessed by all of you. I wish everyone many Blessings and for great things to come to All of you.

I finally got hired at a great job two days after I posted that I turned down a job. My old company made me work out my one week notice because they were very pissed that I quit. At my new job the owner's computer crashed last month and he lost his whole entire business. He wants me to help him fix his computer so he has enough backed up so he doesn't lose his business again. This is a really good challenge for me and plus I work alone so it's perfect for me. Excellent!!!
I don't necessary post here but i got a job after searching for six months and a couple of interviews. I am a Case Manager for Assurance Case Managent. I start my training on Wednesday the 20th of Sep. Im so happy for this new opportunity. I pray that God continues to guide me and put his hands on this new career path.

Corporates new strategy
It seems corporate has developed a new way to treat people like bugs or a flying insect and squash them at anytime or in other words(THEY DON'T CARE) !!! Over the last 6 months I have been lied to and have been told I had a job but corporate called and said the position was being changed and upgraded .And that I would no longer be considered for the position. Multiple times after the interview I would come home to a new email (from the company I had just interviewed with ) saying “We are going in a different direction” WTF . With 2 degrees and plenty of workforce experience( I am 54 ) and walked away from the railroad due to many close calls with death and it was time to move on .Follow your gut intuition ,And finally after over 200 internet applications and 10 interview I finally found a new career path. My advice ,if you fall down,get up and actually see yourself in the job you want and be fearless when answering their questions (try a different approach) what have you got to lose. I could write so much more but just remember if hired you can be fired.. Don't give in to the ruthless ways of our corporate greed ,.Where they would hire a drug addict and leave an educated person on the street why?. Because you are smarter than these corporate rats and they want to keep all the cheese .Good luck and remember(think outside of the box) because you smarter than your supervisors, and they fell threated and not impressed with your educational background .I like to call it playing dumb.
Just scored a job with a restoration company working as an administrative assistant, relocating to Houston for 6 months! Sad as it seems, people are going to need help fixing their homes and property in the wake of Harvey AND Irma. So if anyone has any sort of skilled labor experience out there, start looking in those areas.
I got a job at dollar general...i havent worked with a register in 10 years and ive never stocked but i enjoy it!!! its part time but its working. im waiting on a call from the jail to become a correctional officer hopefully i get it cause it pays way more but as of right im happy with what i have!!!!
I got hired at a job. it's perfect for me. it's a receptionist job for a roofing and siding company. it's five minutes from where I live and it's working by myself. I love that. it's the amount of money that I'm asking for. It's going to work out great.
Don't give up!!!! Be persistent!!! I was finally offered a position! At 23 yrs old, I thought I would never get hired or have to take a job making far less than I was making.. but it all worked out in the end!!! Yay!!!
After being unemployed for 5 months..... I finally received a job. I have to say having patience and faith works. It's been about 4 weeks now and I really love my job...... to all those that are still seeking employment DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
