IMPORTANT!! IRS SCAM!!

Please share this with all your friends and family. I was contacted yesterday BY TELEPHONE by a person claiming to be from the IRS. Claiming that I owe $1,500 in back taxes. They even threatened prosecution by law enforcement if I didn't pay immediately. I knew right away this was BS because the IRS will NEVER contact ANYONE by telephone. They will ALWAYS attempt to contact by mail first. But I stayed on the line with this person to get all the information that I could about them. Then I made a fraud report to the IRS today.

I will share that info with y'all.

NAME: Officer Alex Spencer (probably an alias) Accent: middle eastern Phone that I was given: 818-309-1017 (comes up in California)

Has anyone heard of these two companies? I received an email asking for a phone interview. I am so leery of scams but this email was well written, had details about my city, etc. I had the "interview" this morning but it was 5 minutes long and light on substance. When I asked questions about the company, he had decent answers but I could tell I threw him for a loop. I have left a message for the company I googled but wondering if anyone has any input or advice. He is supposed to get back to me tomorrow. Thanks!

The same thing happened to me in April, I contacted the eeoc and they said they couldn't help me. But I was awarded my unemployment. I was fired on a lie as well in the state of Texas. Anyone has any suggestions on any lawyers. Please feel free to let me know. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance
