My business partner and I started the business together. At the beginning we sacrificed personal income and comfort to grow the company. Of course this spirit of sacrifice continued over the next five years as we changed addresses four times, each time into a larger office with more associates added. The end result was a successful company with great employee retention and most important, a strong and loyal customer base with a high rate of return business and a strong positive "word of mouth" amount of new clients.

I am self motivated! Easy going team player, with experience as a supervisor. I learn my job's at a good pace, and if they can be improved or tweaked for better efficiency with safety in mind I improve them. Military teaches individuals to look out for problems that may occur, and stop them before anything happens. I have taken that to heart and made it a must to continue in my life.

I needed a job after Toys R Us closed and Dollar General is now my new home. I think in life you need to be the person who matters, and that means always putting your all into whatever you do. If you want to give up just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Be the person who shines bright, the person they can't ignore, and get the job you want! I thought once Toys R Us closed I was finished, but now I am managing this store and I couldn't be happier.

Last year this time I was let go after taking a job close to home in exactly 6 week. I’ve been tempting and had two good offers and then three months later let go again. Well last month I received an offer from the hospital which I’ve always want to go back in. Woot, woot .Jobseeker when it’s for you it’s for you. I’ve had many doors closed but also many open, but just not the right one until know.Do’nt ever give up,the the right career or job is waiting for you, The struggle is real. God bless.

I can be certain I'm heading in the right direction as far as both finding n getting a good new job on a more permanent basis... Tho I still seem to have quite a few hurdles n obstacles to work thru ... To all others out there in a current struggle or still SEARCHING for steady stability, I encourage you to NEVER give up !!! Perserverance WILL pay off for EVERYONE n soon !!! Keep the faith n continue to move forward !!! :) Prayers please

i havent had so much trouble trying to find a full time job that i can seriously dedicate my routine too. im remaining positive because im gonna be better than i ever have, i know this.. but its hard living without a purpose or anything to show or provide. and no matter how hard you try nobody believes you until you start showing something

This is a story that my stepdad shared with me many years ago.
He worked at the B&O railroad. He started a summertime job there as a yard worker in 1946 when he was just 16 and still in high school. He was ALWAYS on time. He NEVER called in. When his manager came looking for him, he was ALWAYS where he was supposed to be and doing what he was supposed to be doing. He was ALWAYS the first to clock in and always the last to leave. At lunch, he would eat and then IMMEDIATELY go right back to work. At the end of his 1st summer, the supervisor told him "if you come back next year, you've got a job." He worked both summers during high school. One day they asked him if he wanted to become a yard engineer. He did that for a couple years. Then they asked if he wanted to go into the engineer training program. This man was a full rated engineer at 21 years old. He worked for the SAME company for 46 years. Retiring when he was 62.
Point of this story is, whenever you a hired to do a job, you should always try to do the best job that you possibly can do. SOMEONE IS ALWAYS WATCHING EVEN WHEN YOU THINK THEY'RE NOT!!!

Just towards the end of last year and first of 2018, I had an experience with 5 recruiters from same agency reaching out to me offering one position, sometimes 2 different locations and then another job opportunity. Its all through contract only. However, anyone can apply anytime directly with business where the recruiters were trying to assign me, but who knows when you may become a 'new hire'. It is a splendid opportunity for life! Yes!! Anyway, I was sort of leery and uncertain of the agency's organization and their individuals contacting and requesting personal data with submission through their online website. All except director sounds like they're overseas. Once, I attempted to submit, then I renigged. I was contacted back to back, for three weeks or more. The recruiters' director even reached out to me. I was told that the opportunity was mine, just go ahead with completion of 'pkg of paperwork'. I was allowed extra time to submit my info to the agency and I just never persued. The agency was patient and finally gave up on me, I thought. So, I landed other opportunities. Nothing is forever. Low and behold I began to receive and accept interviews offered for employment opportunities at my dream job which is also where the particular recruiters had attempted to assign me. Now, mos. later, the recruiters are reaching out, again, with same job offer. I followed through, this time and submitted a great deal of data and 'paperwork' online. I now recall the dread of getting involved. So much personal data and 'paperwork' for a temp job and I wanted perfection and professionalism in the application process (just as I did with exams/app of dream job). I sort of became familiar with the recruiters over phone. Sort of. I dedicate myself on the job and hate taking off, but will if I must and definitely to secure a permanent job, somewhere, somehow, preferably my dream job. Considering that lengthy app process I should be a perm employee. It is so crazy. It is just as lengthy with the dream job employment application (same familiar format). To me, it seems a little peculiar. I thank them. Just. never. ever. know ♤ May GOD Help Us All.

I want to thank everyone for there stories, and advise, I just got a union job for housekeeping at a big hospital and I start on May 14th, so never give up and hopefully everything will work out

I learned the hard way. I goofed off when I was younger with jobs that we're great ones. But I was young and dumb. And now it's been 2 almost 3 yrs since I've worked and I'm 40 and jobs really hard to find. I finally start working on Friday. And im not gonna screw it ip
