I always hear people talk about how internships are so important for getting a job, but I call shenanigans. I feel like I’m stuck in a cycle of internships and I have no way of convincing an employer to hire me. How do I break free so I can start earning a paycheck, for crying out loud?

I am looking for an internship in Columbus, OH. Do you take interns?

My father died approximately April 18, 2016. My sister and I took care of our father at home until he died. We however had Gentiva (in home hospice) come to his house to bathe him every other day. I (Katherine Bridgewater his daughter) bathed him on the other days. Tracy, his nurse took really good care of him along with Bakery. They worked for Gentiva which was merged with Kindred. Kindred has wonderful employees. Would it be possible for me to shadow someone in CT. My email address is kbridgewater @iuhealth.org. I would love to know & learn more about your facility

I started an internship with a general contracting construction company for the summer. So far most of the work I’ve been assigned has been labor intensive cleanup which doesn't require much skill or tools. Last week the Project Manager told me to invest in some tools so I can start assisting the carpenters and electricians with skilled work. I’m trying to put together a toolbelt with some essential tools I’ll need to work on projects. So far I have a hammer, tape measure, pliers, utility knife, and screw drivers. Anyone have suggestions on other tools I could use now and in the future? Thanks
