So I had a job interview with JcPenny and I dressed casual cause I wasn't feeling to good that day. She said I wasn't fashionable enough for the job and mentioned that I wasn't wearing any makeup. Since when do you have to wear makeup at a job. Getting so frustrated on finding a job.

I have worked for JCPenney before in the past and I like the company, Had a good experience working there receiver raise every 6 months according to your quality of work that you do

I got a job at JC Penney as a cashier. I will be starting as part time and then if everything goes ok I will be full time.

After nearly 3 years we had corporate restructuring. I was the senior member and the one everyone wanted for our manager . Turned out that position was eliminated. The new person who was directly ahead of me was wonderful, but his superior was a young guy focused on nothing but high pressure sells. I'll call him Justin. He had no respect for anything but the last sale. I had 3 years in with 1 blemish. When I'd first started they fired a girl and didn't tell her, just let her see the blank schedule. I stood up for her, earning a private lashing from Justin. His first week after restructuring he gave me the first write up I ever had for showing an elderly man a gold chain without relocking the case. I was still standing in front of it. The guy was old. It was safe. Justin didn't care. The next week I found out that a position much more suitable for me had opened and been filled by someone not remotely as qualified as I. I told my supervisor how I felt, then my coworkers, husband, and friends. Betrayed. When Justin heard his excuse was that it didn't quite pay as much so what is my problem? By the way here's another write up for telling what happened. Next week my supervisor gave me an outstanding review, written by Justin. Then I got pneumonia. For over 3 weeks I was deliriously I'll. I worked all but 3 days of it due to our strict attendance policy. Justin enjoyed calling me to his office to point out I was 2 minutes late when I could barely stand. One really bad day a sore on my leg started bleeding. By myself for over an hour I handled one customer after the other while blood pooled in my shoes. No one answered pages for help. When it was over they wouldn't even let me wash the blood off my leg. I knew I had to go to the hospital. I could no longer stand up straight. I had less than an hour. Justin came by and saw me sick and bleeding, barely able to speak or stand. He pointed out how much I had let him down by not making my sales goal that day. After leaving the hospital that evening I had to crawl up my stairs. It didn't change the attendance policy, but after being diagnosed with something so seriously everyone but him was worried that I still had to work so sick. They understood that with the fevers and breathing problems I wasn't at my best. He waited at the door every morning to point out I was 4 minutes late dragging myself in. After 8 days of this he called me to his office to discuss this problem. I placed my keys in the drawer and went. When I came back they we're gone. He fired me the next day for losing those keys.
