Job Case keeps sending me jobs that I have already applied at. Most of them probably deleted my resume when they saw about 20 years of experience so they knew I was at least in my 40's. In the tech field as with most fields today, employers only want to hire young, in the in 20's people with 2 to 3 years experience.. One of the companies named Benchmark which job case keeps sending me, I went on an interview back early in March. When the young Hispanic hiring manger saw my age the interview was basically over. When he asked if I spoke Spanish and I said not much the interview was for sure over. Since then I see the position still listed week after week , month after month. Maybe by next year they'll find the perfect person to hire.

How can I get Jobcase to show me employment in my area. I keep seeing listings that are out of State. I typed in my address and stated that I wanted a 10 mile radius or in home on line computer work, so I don't know what the problem is.

I applied for a job in a school district. I got a reply email saying they were interested in me and asking me to fill out the online application which took two hours to finish. The position is still posted. In the meantime I heard from a reliable source that the position is " not a real job- fake job" . The job is created to get money to pay the people already assisting the Music Director. The job as it is posted, does not exist. Is this fraud? If they ask me for a interview, I plan on going and recording it. Unethical? Should I go to the superintendent?

So I open my email and see that there is a new message saying 4 people had referred jobs for me. I thought awe, that's so sweet, the first link says "I saw your resume as a book keeper and thought this job may be a good fit." Just as that warm and fuzzy feeling begins to set in the link takes me to a job opening at Pizza Hut. I giggled and hit the back button. The next link says basically the same thing, specifically mentioning my book keeper experience and I click on it. Another Pizza Hut job in a different location. I laughed out loud this time. The next one took me to a open restaurant opening. Totally made my day. With another Monday quickly approaching I was hoping to lighten up the usual and put a smile on another's face also. I better get going. Gotta call my mom and tell her about my new career options. Won't she be proud!

Ever since I've been applying on email for a job that's all I am getting are these lousy losses date sites sex sites government sites that owe me money all nothing but bullshit I'm about to give up on job sites

I'm getting frustrated by the number of OLD postings I see from Glassdoor, Monster, Indeed, etc. where the position is listed on these sites as NEW or perhaps a day or two old, however when I finally get to the application page, the position is actually 30+ days old or I get, "The job has expired!" message. Anyone else experience this frustration?
GRRRRR.

I am on several different job sites, (Monster, Career Builders, etc). I keep getting notices about openings in my field. However, when I click on the listing, it has my job title...and then the description for being a Lyft driver. This is so annoying! Get my hopes up for an opening, and end up with this. Do others have this same issue? Do the job sites not monitor postings? Any title, any description? Truly a waste of my time dealing with these emails.

I don't understand why these companies send such misleading emails. I am desperately trying to find a job. I received on today stating that a company that I sent my resume to wanted to schedule an interview. I got so excited only to realize that it was a bogus email. I just don't understand why they do this? Since looking for a job I have my email and cell number on alot of different sites and now I am drowning in bogus emails and telemarketing calls. I am in a dark place today and hoping my luck will turnaround soon.

I dislike it when I receive an email alert from a job posting site indicating that it has matched me with the "perfect job match" only to click on it and find that it has NOTHING to do with the job I am seeking...for example, I have no clue how they confuse Paralegal with Truck driver...so frustrating!

Why would you email me about a job that is not hiring?
