ok i received a "job" as logistics manager for EC company, couldnt find anything about it but when I discovered it, but everything seemed legit, they had control panel that would show when i was to receive packages, At first i was skeptical. then i receieved calls, directions on what to do. but check this out, if you go on here and "apply" you can see how legitamete it looks. I ended up getting 4 iphone 7s, and a oculas VR. I held on to the items, called where they were coming from, best buy and att said these items were purchased. So i sent them to addresses i was supposed to, 2 days later my control panel is coming up blank..
check this out (business-ev.com) go through the process but i warn you... I didnt give them my social, they just used my address

Beware of any work at home position that sends you a check then asked you to send money else where so someone else can order your equipment. Also BIGGEST red flag, I have been contacted at least 4 times by scammers they all want to interview you online through google hangouts, ever single one. They have used names and company's off of
LinkedIn, they have gotten my info from internet
sites. But never an email with company name it's gmail, yahoo or something they made up.
I have even google who they said they were found out the VP had left the company and then I emailed the company they told me it had to be a scam he left last year. So run for the hills if the day Google Hangouts!

I had three job scams directed at me in just 2 weeks last mos. It seems once they get your name and info they pass it about or sell it. All three were fairly sophisticated and I'm sure probably work against certain types of people. I 'm not one of them. My default is everything on the Internet has to be viewed with a very wary eye. I always say if an offer is too good to be true it's always just that NOT true and I've never seen one yet that didn't fit that description.

Beware for instant interviews through Google Hangouts. They are known for scams. Had one yesterday without knowing until I asked for a job number online.

Hello to All, ALMOST was job scammed just this past week. Had my resume on Ziprecruiter. Anyway, this lady emails me and says I am the perfect candidate to work from home. Believe pay was to be 20/hour. Increasing in time. She emails me having her meet me in Google Hangouts. Going through the trouble I set Hangout up. She gives me her pitch for MFS, an investment company. The scam sign? Well, her address was MiriamMcQuaid at gmail.com, not MFS.com. I called MFS, they tell me there is no Miriam McQuaid working in their HR Department. I was honest, gave them the information they asked for, Heidi who picked up the phone was very professional, she apologizes, no need, not her fault. Miriam emails me tells me this is, not a scam. Ah huh, I gave her my research and she insisted she is in the MFS HR. I then asked her, then why don't you use a MFS email address. She avoided the question, stating are you interested or not? I wrote her letting her know she almost accomplished scamming me! No answer of course! Lesson learned? A HR recruiter will give you their business email address, not their personal address. And the English they use is terrible! Her last comment to me? Bless you. They were going to send me a computer, with some technology that would track my time using it. I was to deposit their check, ah huh, then pay for the software, sure the check would bounce and I'd be out that money. Unreal. Looked believable at first, the more I thought about it though, figured something was not right! Oh yes, I emailed Ziprecruiter and have heard nothing! I understand not getting back to me in a timely manner for any other issue, but fraud on their website? Kick someone when they're down and no response? Shame on Ziprecruiter! Anybody else a possible victim for a scam on Ziprecruiter? I share as I don't want anyone else to go through this lousy experience. Good for MFS for talking with me, thank you Heidi! Hope they can find Miriam, she had a picture up of what I assume was not her, and prosecute whoever is responsible!

Has anyone ever heard of Wild Flavors, inc.? They send you an almost 3,000$ check to get items for a foster home? That ask you to deposit the check first and email or copy the deposit slip? Then they will send you a list to get the items and send it off and then the rest is your weekly pay? Scammer or Not? What do you guys think?

Over the last 2 days I have had 3 job offers by 2 different companies offering jobs working from home. They use legitimate company's to do this scam and here is a little of how it works.
They send you an email of a job offer to work from home using a real company's name that does do some positions remotely and they say the positions pay anywhere from $15 to $28 an hour.
Then when you reply they want to set up an interview but the interview is only through google chat. (I went through the process to see what it was all about) They will not Skype with you or any other type of tele-conferencing so you can see them in person its all through google chat.
The interview questions are great questions that a real company would ask you and would all seem real if it wasn't for the google chat thing and takes a long time.
At the end and after waiting close to an hour in chat they come back and tell you that after review of your interview answers you have the position. Now keep in mind not one time did they ask for any personal info like social or anything (thank god). You start tomorrow and they tell you a time to be on for training and that your office equipment will be there by the end of the week so that you can preform you job duties.
You go online the next day to start your training and your first task is to type an essay on Office Equipment and its importance in Accounting and general clerical duties. Now this is as far as I took the process. The rest of it works from what I have heard that they send you a check for more than what you are to be paid and want you to cash the check and western union them back the remainder but not sure how true that part is.
So I know everyone is desperate for a job so please beware.

I recently received a call from Steve at the IRS saying they were going to sue me unless I paid them a fee. Now I do seasonal tax work for Block and have done so for 22 years. The IRS will never call. They send everything in writing. Don't give them any information or click any links if they send an email. Steve clicked off when I told him my calls are monitored and recorded for quality assurance. He didn't realize he called my home number

Does anyone know if this is legit? "An online job that allows you to do data entry on google, facebook, twitter, snapchat, and more to earn up to 2,500 a week. No need to interview - the job is yours to start today if you want it. Finalize the details by clicking below." I receive this every so often in my email and I've been on unemployment for just over a year now and nearly ready to try almost anything. I wouldn't expect that much money weekly. Just curious...
