@Alyssa McLellan on the Jobcase team shared that her mom leaves snacks and water outside for delivery drivers to take when they drop off packages. I loved this. Volunteer Work over the internet. Somebody could start a list for resources for those who need things. Like basic necessities. Like food. Personal cleaning supplies. Maybe ask a local church, for extra gift cards. Or something else, there are other resources, like helping people on a chat line, for those who can't help themselves. There are so many of them.

Has anyone seen this video? It's pretty adorable - this little one befriends his local garbage men and gives them gifts on holidays and everything. I think it just speaks to the kindness that everyone has, and shows how appreciative people are for a job well done!

Keep a "Blessing bag" in your car in case you find someone in need. You can make these up with items from the Dollar Tree such as gloves, thermal socks, beef sticks, crackers, candy bars, toothpaste, toothbrush, wipes, deodorant, snacks and other items that may help someone who is homeless or in a bad way. It is just a thoughtful, inspiring thing to do.

Seeing the smiling faces when I did small things like hugs and showing I sincerely cared for then. Asking what they like to do and plan around this when possible according to their abilities.
When I worked at Target I had this sweet older couple come through my line. They went to pay for a few groceries, but they were short $12. He began to count change on the belt and the wife debated what to put back. I was about to help them myself, when the guy behind them says don't work guys it's on me. He paid for their groceries. The older woman hugged him and asked for his address to repay him, but he said it wasn't a big deal. It sure was to them, and to me.
When Garrick, a Southwest Airlines flight attendant, found himself in the position to help a passenger in need, he went above and beyond the call of duty. Nine-year old Gabby, a type 1 diabetic, was severely anxious about being on an airplane. Garrick, a Southwest crew member, worked throughout the flight to make her more comfortable, bringing her special drinks and trying to make her laugh after he noticed her struggling during takeoff. When the plane hit a serious patch of turbulence, he let her sit in the empty seat next to him, talked to her about his daughter (the same age as Gabby), about her pets, her school, and even let her grab his arm for comfort.
At the end of the flight, Garrick used the PA to tell the whole plane that his new friend — Gabby — had just overcome her fear of flying, and that she deserved a round of applause from the whole plane. “The whole plane clapped for her,” her mother reported afterwards, “It was a wonderful experience on Southwest. We are forever grateful to have met such a beautiful, selfless soul.”
This story reminds us that in ANY job we are doing, we can ALWAYS make a difference.

Hey jobcasers! I hope the day for u ALL went well! As I read through the feed of some posts, I notice too much debating ( some points NOT well thought out!) and much negativity. This shouldn't be due to the nature of some peoples issues! We must be kind one to ANOTHER! All of us expect kindness when things have gone array! Treat, communicate to others as you wish to be treated/ spoken to! Karma! Each one teach one! Blessings!
