I enjoyed helping people, find what they were looking for answering their questions. Everyday was something new. I liked having my own area that I was held accountable for. I enjoyed ordering merchandise and keeping counters filled and straightened. I also enjoyed doing new layouts.
Excellent work atmosphere, manager and crew were wonderful to work with. I was primarily a bookkeeper but also worked wherever I was needed. Lots of opportunities to learn.
Everyone was nice to me never had a problem there !

401 k,they really loved there employee's,days of if your sale s were increased for the quarter,my first year that I worked as garden shop manager I sold over a million dollars. The Districk Manger came in to see me and thank me. I kept a very organized and clean department,when the season was over I was promoted to overnight stock manager,when the store closed I was offered a position at another store but I just needed a break and he also said if I ever need a reference ,I could always use him he retired and moved to Atlanta and I lost contact his name was Mr. Max Ray ,he was a fair man.
Working at Kmart was a lots of fun we were a family there
