Not losing hope, just a little frustrated! I went on deployment with G4S to Houston, TX as a armed security officer, and while I was on deployment they made me the lead guard. When I came back I received a “certificate of recognition” award for great leadership in the field, a little bonus and promised a opportunity to be supervisor at a site. Eventually I was told the supervisor position went cold and now I am stuck at a site that I am over qualified for. Hey, I double majored in criminal justice technology and latent evidence. I never got a job that was successful with those 2 degrees.I graduated in 2011 from Gaston College, with those 2 degrees and return a year ago for my nursing degree as an LPN. Im so burnt on nursing already with all the shortage of staffing and I really desired to find a job with my criminal justice degrees. Im going to continue to work in nursing until God answers my prayers.
I am a mothed of 3 young children that is participating in the family drug court program so i have to work certain hours because i take afternoon classes. It seems like i cant find a job anywhere that will hire me right now because my hours are not flexible enough at the moment until i get further into the program. I have transportation im willing to work 7 days a week i just have to be off work by 430 monday thru friday. On Saturdays im not available until 2pm or later but available all day Sunday. Im obviously drug free bc of the program so passing drug screens for any job is no problem. I have work experience in food industry, as a cashier, as a housekeeper/cleaner, front desk at hotel, waitressing/hostess....etc etc just several things. But i cant seem to find a job or everyone that gives me a chance and interviews me just so happens to only be open in the afternoon during the hours i have to be in class.....this sucks
