Bedrock Protection Agency was bought out by pal American. And apparently pal American will not back up its employees. The last post that I worked, one of the homeowners Flatout made up a lie about me. This homeowner stated that he saw me sleeping while on post and that he had to get out of his vehicle and knock on the door of the security shed to wake me up. he told this line to the homeowners association who in turn told my company they wanted me removed no investigation no nothing. There is video of every vehicle that pulled up to the guard gate, at no time does the video show anyone getting out of their vehicle to knock on the door. This lie ended up costing me the post and ultimately costing me the job. In an incident that occurred on an earlier date at a different post, when the company was still Bedrock, I was viciously attacked by a co-worker using a stainless steel coffee pot. (See attached photo). All I was doing was telling her not to play with the computer as was part of the post orders. I ended up with several stitches, and had her arrested for assault and battery with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. Bedrock now pal American, in an obvious attempt to cover their ass against my filing any kind of lawsuit, said that I was creating a hostile work environment (for following the rules).

Employers generally stay away from asking questions that could be perceived as discriminatory or biased; however, there may come a time when you're asked point-blank if you have kids.

Illegal Interview Questions to Avoid

It's not that women have an unfair advantage over men during the interview process, yet some federal and state laws prohibit prospective employers from asking certain questions that primarily relate to women.

Examples of questions that may discriminate include: Do you have any children? If so, how many and what are their ages? Are you single, married, divorced, or engaged? What kind of childcare arrangements do you have in place? Are you currently taking any form of birth control or fertility treatment? What are your plans if you get pregnant? Does your spouse work? If so, what does your spouse do for a living? Should we refer to you as Mr., Miss, or Mrs.?

Great had another awesome interview. Was told how great my qualities were. And for the 4th. time didn’t get the job. This is getting old. I need work. SMH This is insane. The first time they decide to go a different route after I pay out of pocket to renew and refresh my license. Then the company was bought and they decided to go with the people they already have. And the very first time, they tell me they decided to hire someone else. Mind you I was hired all 4 times. This is getting old and frustrating. It’s like all my years in security were for nothing.

I wonder about all these computer generated job sites. I think my 6 or 7 year old granddaughter could do a better job. "Self employed" means I worked for myself.. I do not remember saying I was "proud."
