I got released from my assignment because someone misconstrued something I said and rather than talking to me for verification, they released me from my assignment.

As a former branch manager for MANPOWER temporary services I cannot emphasize enough about 1st impressions. When you walk into a temp agency you must be as prepared as if you were walking into a Fortune 500 company. You must impress me for me to put you out there to work for one of my clients. It is no accident. How you "behave" on the job can and will secure your future. Temp to perm is real. I have witnessed success stories time and time again. It is all up to you to believe in your worth and you will be rewarded 10 fold. Good luck to all , I am your biggest fan/ cheerleader! Sincerely, Colleen

First just want to say thankyou for all the suggestions from everyone. I have been listing myself on several of the online employment agencies ,looking at the number of jobs they all claim to have it would seem theirs enough jobs for every american in this country to have atleast 2 jobs lol. Iit seems that i have a lot of work ahead of me to find a good match for employment of the position i want and being on disability , but words of hope to all , Never Give Up , and like my grandfather use to say employers arent going to come knocking on your door and say hey Mark your the guy we been looking for we have this great job with big big money for you please come to work please. Lol. Nope he said. You got to do the foot work and the phone calls and now the computer searches. When I was a young man when you could actually fill out and application and immediately talk to the person doing the hiring in person and sell yourself face to face it sure was easy for me, I got the job I wanted not bragging I was just good. Lol. Anyway I think I might have missed a interview online with manpower that was refered to me by someone on here because i didnt check my mail on time , I had so many I had to rest staying up all night working on computer , I forgot im not 18 anymore lol. But im gonna see if that window is still available with manpower. Thanks for reading. Have a good night
