The staff is amazing! The manager is involved and gets everyone in that “let’s make this hotel memorable” mood! I loved working here and regret leaving! I worked at Residence Inn in Rookwood Ohio... I was housekeeping assistant manager and I KNOW everything gets cleaned to the best of housekeeping’s ability! They work hard for their money! The workers at the front desk are very knowledgeable and always trying to make everyone’s stay great! This is a great place to work. Medical benefits and average pay. I’d definitely go back to this job if I could!

I am working as a fitness trainer, I stopped guest bcz without sports shoes it's not allowed in gym. I requested them politely. Later I have to give my own shoes to use them.

My wife was getting promoted to the Hyatt Regency Monterey from Washington DC Hyatt Regency. I was working for the Hyatt Dulles in Virgina. I had to leave Hyatt after 28 years in order for my wife to work in Monterey. We could not work together at Hyatt, so I quit Hyatt to let her pursue her career. Marriott heard I was moving here and called me to set up an interview. Upon my arrive in Monterey, I interviewed with Marriott, and I liked the system in place where as the Chef I was responsible for my department. The GM was truly concern for the employees. If you take care of your people, they will take care of the customer. I had one boss to report to. I had to take a dip in pay, but it was all about working for a large Hotel company, something I have been doing since I was 21.

To land a job at #Marriott I would say to...

Flexibility is required to work in the hotel industry. We are currently looking for servers in our restaurant. The tips are great and you can work with a fun group. Also if you like people this is definitely a great place to meet some of the neatest people from all over the world.
