The empty promise of a management position. I was passed up for younger, less experienced people who ended up getting fired for getting into fights with customers. In all of my customer experience, I've always been able to de-escalate a bad situation. I worked harder than people half my age, and held on while 4 people were advanced who barely knew how the restaurant was run.
