My name is Mildred, I have always be in the direct care health field regarding employment for well over 12-15 years. I have been employed as a Home Attendant, CNA, Residental Counselor with Developmental Disabled Indivduals, and currently graduated with my Associates in Medical Assistant (MA). With all the work & years I devoted to the health field... I cannot seem to gain employment as a MA in the hospitals,Physician’s offices or clinics ??????? I completed my internship and everything. I have put so many applications ... that I can do them in my “sleep.” I am so so disappointed that I would like to work as a hospital environmental Aide in NY,NY to try a change of careers. Please does anyone know how I should go about getting a job? I am really approaching my wits end.

Hi! So I send out 30 resume via email last week alone. Positions Medical Front Desk, Medical Assistant, Medical Call Center....in NJ. I then check the sites and it shows employers look at my resumes some looked at the same email twice others show position expired and still others still show position still available. Anyhow, to make a long story short I am thinking of calling these employers or mailing or faxing them a cover letter/resume I have been looking for employment for a long long time. I think this is the way to go for me. I will work anywhere while I land a promising job so that is all. I hope everyone is a little closer to a job offer.

I graduated from Medical Assisting Almost a year ago I had to Volunteer just to gain some experience even thought I already did my extern ship at a doctor’ Office the thing is I’m not getting hired because I don’t have enough experience(and some of them require me to speak Spanish which I don’t. I speak English and Haitian Creole ) I was hoping to be a receptionist so I can work my way up to being a medical Assistant any advice for me will be greatly appreciated.
