United Healthcare Group has the most informative and comprehensive career websites I’ve seen to date. Here are the top 3 instructions you need to follow in order to experience more successful hiring experience:

1 - Search, go to the UnitedHealth Group career page and use the job search features to find the list of current job opportunities available in your area. (Note, If you don’t find the job(s) you’re looking for then set up a job alert in order to be one of the first applicants notified when a job opportunity opens.

2 - Apply, this step is Essential! Carefully review all the job details and qualification requirements to make sure the job meets your previous career experience, skills and career goals, then APPLY!

3 - Follow-Up, use the Username and Password you created to begin your application to log into your personal application portal where you can check the status of your application and correspond with the UHG recruiters managing your hiring process.

That’s it! It’s really that simple!!

Got questions? Reach back out to me with your specific concern(s) and I’ll be more than happy to help. Thanks & Good Luck! Click Here to Start your UHG Application Process

Hey Everyone I was let go Friday from my Medical Coder position with BSW... They trained me in something new and I was trying to learn that new coding. I have never coded for Primary care with Preventive and Annual Well Visits before this and my previous experience does not include such experience.

I tried my best to learn it and initially caught on real quick to the coding processes, but my best was not good enough... I only asked questions because it had not clicked yet and once something clicks, then I have it down. I slowed down to capture all of the data that they wanted, but to no avail... I always do my very best and put my very best effort, but my best wasn't good enough...

The manager said that I lied about my resume, but I didn't lie... She knew my coding background and certain specialties. This was never part of my experience...

I only received one month of training... Typically an employee receives 3 months of solid training after getting in and then if there is no improvement or the employee is confused in some capacity, then they would work to dispel that confusion and bring that employee up to that certain desired level...

One month and then deciding to terminate me is not sufficient time for an employee to grow, to dispel confusion and become proficient...

This happened to me and I am very heartbroken as I wanted to learn and grow with them... I needed more EPIC EMR coding experience to legitimize my career. Now it is much more difficult...

I don't deserve to be treated with such disrespect and no heart... I did not do anything wrong and just wanted to verify that I perform the coding actions correctly and accurately...

I thought that I finally can grow my medical coding career within EPIC EMR. I am trying to remain hopeful and move on and solidify my medical coding career within EPIC... I succeeded in some areas, so I know that placed correctly; I would succeed...
