On October 18th I will be unemployed for a full year. I've taken and passed w/ flying colors a Medical Billing & Coding course during my jobless time. But, no one seems to want to give me a chance to show my skills, proficiency and ability to learn fast. I am certified and confident in my abilities to be able to be a great asset to any company.

Looking for work from home jobs doing medical billing and following up on on medical claims

The company has good benefits but you will work very hard. And unfortunately employees are not valued to much by the company.

I just finished school for medical billing and coding and about to take my state board. I have been looking for a job in that field but most people won't even look at your resume without having atleast 2 years experience. Well how do you get the experience if no one will give you a chance?

Finally landed a back office CMA job at Famuly Med Center!! It took 4 months after I got my certification!

hi my name is Teresa and I was laid off my job about 2 weeks ago and i've been there for 9 yrs working as a medical assisting with a family practice doctor and now i wont be able to get unemployment because my boss actually didn't laid me off it looks like I resign and I didn't get anything sign by him and he asked if I had a 2 week letter and I said yes...............well what happen was that my girls were going back to school and I had nobody to pick them up so I made up 3 different schedules and I gave him the schedule and told him to think about it and to see if it was a perfect fit to the business. so he called me in the office the first week of August and talk to me about the idea that i had and he understood where i was coming from but business wise it wasn't going toll work out because he needed a full time medical assisting which he understand that i worked full time for many years but he also said he understand that my kids comes first. I that time i was put my job first but now that my girls are getting older they come first and my oldest daughter started college so i don't have a support system like i had before so now is hards to get a part time job because most jobs need you to work full time. Next week im going to urgent care facilities and nursing home to work at night so it worn't affect my schedule with my girls. if yall know of anything please let me know im around the 77067 zip code ..............thanks for listening sorry if its long but i needed to talk to somebody
