Some people grow up at 18, 25, even 30 ive learned a lot so far about building relationships. My father is my idol and my best friend he has taught me more in life and im still learning. Learning never stops and that goes hand in hand with relationships. I even was in a unhealthy one, but there is always two sides to every story, and i realized you have to be happy with yourself to build relationships and move forward with your life. I believe everyone has a talent from god some have many, but one thing doesnt change is your first impression on someone. You ever think you judge a book by its cover too quickly well not everyone knows someones story behind closed doors. Our generation is so messed up because people dont know how to handle social media without getting jealous. They see what everyone else is doing, but dont want to focus on themselves. If i had to elaborate more on everything i said it is life can be as simple as you make it just dont look at someone elses story, and wish you were them, findout what is right for you. I decided to hire myself and start a business with my high school aged son to keep me sharp while I am searching for a full time position. This has allowed me to turn a very negative situation - being unemployed and having extra time, into a positive experience in that I have the time to invest into a start up with my son. This started as his high school capstone project to raise money for non-profit veteran groups - as he designed a T-Shirt and has blossomed into an LLC that is now in 7 retail locations in 2 states. I never would have seen this coming and frankly it never would have happened if I did not use the extra time to do something out of the ordinary. We are now able to reach out to non-profits around the state and across the US and provide a platform of products that they can readily use for their local fundraisers - and can run it all through our online store - which takes all the hassle out of it for them. God closes doors and opens others. I want to encourage you all to use this time to pursue something you always wanted to do while you are looking for your next full time position. Thanks - www.patriotthreads.org is my son's site. Best Craig

Are you down in the dumps? Getting discouraged? Here's a tip to help cure those blues as told by a great motivator and leader. It's simple but it works.

"Feeling sad? What are you thinking about? Seriously... examine your thoughts. It's impossible to feel sad if your thinking happy thoughts" ~Joyce Meyer #MotivationMondays

Hey there my fellow Jobcasers. This quote below is one I remember my brother saying when I was younger. There's a lot to it, really. Leave the past behind and make today count. If the past was great for you - awesome, build on it and make today count. If the past was not awesome, or worse, then let it go and and make today count. Here's the thing - YOU and really, ONLY YOU, can move yourself forward to a better place. Its always a ton of work, but it can start today. You just have to decide to start. So its a beautiful Monday. I suggest getting done 1 or 2 of the things you have been putting off. Suggest finding a way to complement 1 or 2 people during your day (a simple "thanks for doing a good job" can almost always bring a smile to anyone's face you come in contact with ). And make a conscious decision that today will be an inflection point for you. That today you move forward with a fresh outlook on whatever goals you are aspiring to, or to overcome whatever challenges you face. Simply choose to make today count! Good luck!, Fred
