Recently been in a hard situation financially and need to find work before I end up on the streets. I was on my last job for 10 years doing medical records and they let me go after medical charts moved from paper to electronic. I have been also working as a part-time musician as well and really want to be full time, but every time I get close to playing for a major platinum artist, something happens. I have endorsements, played at private celebrity award shows, a couple of famous past artist, many churches, and local artist, but nothing too major (almost though). My unemployment stopped in December and I'm thankful for being a part time musician or I'd probably be facing some major difficult times. I did work for Nissan for a little while and the car auction which I loved, but they wouldn't let me off on Sundays after they told me they would and as far as the car auction goes, I really enjoyed that, but missed the opportunity to take a full time position, which I wish didn't happen, so here I am today and right now. That's my story and I just pray to my Lord in Heaven that He will make a way out of no way. Thanks for listening to me and be blessed.
For anyone out there feeling low I am here to tell you I am just now starting to get my life back on track I lost my son as a still born damn near lost my woman we are still trying to work things out I lost a house vehicles money jobs everything I lost in almost 2 year's I had to have a hernia surgery because I wanted to go on a tug boat they told me if I got the surgery I got the job my old job fired me because of the surgery and the tug boat didn't want me I was broke and fixing to lose a house we moved in with my woman's grandparents and we had our ups and downs then my woman decided we needed a break I agreed I am just now starting my night job as a handicap sitter and I am in the middle of getting my own company up and running plus my music studio going CountryBoy Necessities and speedy records. So if you are feeling down about a job don't dedicate yourself to that job invest in a business where your part owner or just work your little shit job until you get your own company up and running and making enough money you can quit your 9-5 job

Idk what to do. Earlier this week I got in to work and started getting set up at my computer. I stepped away from my computer for a few minutes to go get some coffee. When I got back my computer was blaring a song about big booty b-tches. My coworkers were all snickering and laughing except for one who was giving me the death glare. I quickly stopped the music and plugged in my headphones, but the damage was already done. Now every time I walk into a room I can see the smirks on people’s faces. There’s one coworker in particular who was NOT amused by my choice in music and now she will barely talk to me. I’m fairly new at this job so it’s not like anyone knows me well. So now I’m the big booty b-tches guy… Help? How do I fix this?

I've seen a lot of heartbreaking posts lately about people losing their job, not landing a second interview, etc. so I wanted to create a more positive thread! I'm new to Cincinnati and have been going to a lot of interviews lately and wondered if anyone here has a certain song or playlist they listen to to get hyped for an interview? :) Personally I love my EDM playlist but I also like some James Brown to get me pumped, what do you all listen to?
