I'm 25, currently in my last few years as a reservist in the military. I have been working with kids since I was 15. Most of my experiences have been with no-for profit such as Boys & Girls club of america, elementary schools as a TA and daycare's in down town Albany with children ages ranging from infant toddler to 8 years old. I'm currently looking for a positions in any of these fields that i can sink my feet into for a long term position.

I have just started using my LLC to do New and remodeling residential work in White sulfur springs and in renick w.v. I am also starting a nonprofit organization that provides a unique service to our area. The service will take the people who are addicted to drugs and have completed detox. I will help them from going back to the life that got them there. By having them go into the area and offer landscape and maintenance services for the elderly and disabled in our area. The service is free (donations accepted ) I have been working on reciving grants and donations from people who want to help. So far its going slowly but it is working. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make it go faster please let me know.

Hey all, What non-profit organziations help people in their worklives? Does NAACP, Urban League, AARP, Church, etc - have active groups for worklife empowerment that is actually helping at the grass-roots levels? Have you been helped?
We would love to know who we should be partnering with that shares our vision of empowering working Americans.. thanks, Fred

I have had equal numbers of years in both Private Industry, Owned Companies, Corporate Employers and Not For Profits. As I am in my late 50's , I look forward to retirement in just a few years. This means many things, but why is it a positive if you have a position that you need filled? As I have extensive Customer Service and Community Volunteer and Not For Profit experience, I very well appreciate the process and dynamic of helping people get what and where they need, be it in a corporate or sales setting, or in a "helping position." I way be fine tuned to how your organization provides stellar customer reactions, but I already have the heart for it!

There is a team in Cambridge Massachusetts (across the river from Boston and right next to MIT) that works round the clock on the Jobcase social media platform and on technology that powers over hundred transactional-jobsites. This team is completely motivated by the concept of empowering working men and women in their worklife. It's actually very hard to build a business like this, but the mission makes it fun.
We also know there are tons of non-profit orgnizations that share our mission. We can't quite cut huge checks of support to them just yet (still growing as a self-funded company), but I think we are doing something better. Christopher Scranton on our team runs a new group called Jobcase Cares. It's mission is to FREELY give our tech and products to non-profits that share our mission. We just put together a video explaining this and I thought all the Jobcasers would like to see this. When we showed it to the team building this platform for you - they cheered! Hope you like it too....
