I enjoyed working for North Delta Hospice, it gave me my first opportunity in hospice and for that I am ever grateful the pay was good, and the coworkers were good, the only drawback was the instability.

What I learned working for this restaurant is that when they belonged to Fox chain, they treated employees with so much respect and professionalism. Every time an employee had a request, no questions ask, they just gave what the employee needed and that’s the end of the story. If there was a problem or a concern , they took care of it right away and I was very happy because I felt they care about the employees. Once the Cheesecake Factory took over, it’s like working for McDonald’s. They lost the focus on quality and efficiency and they don’t care about employees anymore, they’re just after the money they can make and don’t train new employees properly. There’s a lot of waist, recipes are not executed properly, the place became messy, but the worst part of all is that you can’t thrust anyone any more because there’s is so much disrespect starting from the GM to the Executive Chef and and the shift leaders, so much back stabbing among them and some of the Ex Chefs are there because they have connections with higher Ex and not because of their talent. It’s like going to a factory just to produce with a terrible salary and people that really deserve an increase of pay have to be begging for it. They have lost a lot of talented cooks, Chefs and employees in general because of the way they were treated . Honestly, I don’t know if that would change because I have talked to employees that transferred from Cheesecake Factory Restaurants to North Italia and said they encounter the same problems there. That’s all I have to say.

Talking to the people who come to eat or who I deliver meals to.

Enjoyed my work pharmacy customer service

Only had 2 jobs in my career. 21 years at United States Navy and 24 years at North Star BlueScope Steel. Proud and patriotic sailor. North Star BlueScope has made my upcoming retirement the Golden years I've dreamed of. Apply there and you will agree.

I had a good relationship with the owner, & wanted to stay in this line of work.

I stayed because I liked my job. I retired because I had two supervisors that made my life a living Hell. Not just mine but every women working in our department. They had already managed to fire one, one got smart and bid out, the other was out on medical leave, and I had wrote grievances to Austin. So they were finding reasons to write me up. I then went to the Director of Security (which was their boss), and he said that I was exaggerating and blowing the whole thing out of proportion. Then came the offers of leave absence that I didn't need. When the response to the grievances came back unwarranted and both supervisors tried to bully me into signing a paper stating that I was being fired due to tardiness. I became pretty 😡 After 22 years of service, & all of sudden this? No, I am not signing anything! As of that moment I retired. Hell no!! I wasn't going to let them fire me and me lose all my benefits!!!! And yes I had a lot of choice words for them. That's the only reason I left my job, otherwise I would probably still be there. I hear that Security now has a new Supervisor it is a female. She & I came up in the ranks. She will be a wonderful asset to Security group.

North Georgia Mopar Club is not a job, it’s a car club I belong too

I'm still proud to work for North Santiam Fencing. The quality of the fences are excellent and I am proud that they stand up for years and years. Our crew is awesome and help in other ways.
