All 3 kids' schools are starting on line learning next week. They're using video conferencing for instruction & sending workbook material via email. While they're doing that, I'm brushing up on my Excel skills. Using Udemy.com and Coursera & they're great! #onlinetraining #workfromhome #coronavirus

Khan Academy has some great free resources to help figure out what is next. To name a few resources.... applying for education programs, what to expect if you are thinking of changing jobs, and guides on freelancing & business ownership.

This is what I said to myself a few years ago. In 2016 I was looking for a job. I already had more than a decade of experience and thought it would be easy to find a place. However after 6 months of applications with no success I realized that it was time to change something. I've always been good with computers but thought that software development is too hard, too boring or too [put any reason for me not to do it here]. Well after those 6 months I was ready to take the leap. I did a bit of research online and found CookSystems (my way in!). I did a 2 months coding bootcamp with them that was basically FREE and had all their support in finding my way into the field.
