Ups for 11 years to pizza?

I work delivering pizzas for pizza hut. A few days ago I was dropping off a pie to some guy and I was 20 minutes late. He was mad. He screamed at me, but I kept my cool and told him I was sorry, but it ain’t my fault there was traffic. I called my manager and axed him what I could do. He wasn’t mad at me, but we ended up giving the guy a gift card and then he was cool. He told me he was sorry he flipped and he shook my hand and gave me a tip. That felt good.

When I was a kid I worked for pizza hut and I remember this one manager Brian. He was a cool guy, always was crackin jokes with us. He did so many great things for our store too. He led by example because no one could keep up with his CRAZY work ethic. He worked his ass off ALL the time!!! He actually made ME want to work harder and be a better employee, even while I was working at minimum wage. Your boss makes a huge difference and the environment you work in so don’t think it doesn’t.

I love technology even though it scares the hell out of some folks. I think it's our future. My nephew is starting his first job as a cashier at Pizza Hut next Thursday. Between self check out and self driving cars and now vans that deliver pizzas without a driver, I can't help but wonder....what else will the future bring? I worked for pizza hut years ago and I loved seeing peoples reactions to what i made. I often didnt see it because i was in the back making pizzas, but i once saw a customer dining with their kids and they were all enjoying it. That was a good feeling. You gotta have pride in your job no matter what you do and look for what is GOOD.

My brother makes fun of me ALL THE TIME because I am delivering pizzas for pizza hut, but I don’t get it. I have money and he don’t. I have a car and he don’t. I get discounts on food whenever I want and he definitely don’t. Be thankful for your job and don’t let anyone bring you down!!!

My little cousin is lookin for work so i told him he should go deliver food for pizza hut cuz we get food from there about once a month anyways and he went and applied!! I didn't think he would actually do it. How is it over there? Anyone know what a interview there is like? He is pretty nervous bein his first job and all. He just turned 18.

My dream is to get my own restaurant one day, but right now I am without a job.I am a trained chef but was thinkin about going and applying at the Pizza Hut near my house. I need something FAST I am runnin out of $$ and a cooking job is a cooking job. My daddy always said a five dollar bill don't care where it came from. Anyone work at Pizza Hut before? How was it?
