So i have been with hardees/carls jr for a year now i am a manager there. We had a new gm and dm come into the store about a month ago.i am 6 1/2 months pregnant. I bust my ass for this store i dont call out i show up on time and i stay over just to help out. First they stripped me of my managers shirt for no reason at all. Now they cut me from 40 plus hours a week to 25 hours a week. With no reason at all. What can i do about this i have two children one on the way and bills that got to be paid and how with 25 hours a week?

I've been employed with a non profit organization that provides assistant living to special needs adult for over 11 years.... I know that's a long time to work at a place that has caused me so much grief but I truly love the individuals I work with. Although I can't say the same about the people I work with or around. My troubles started about 2008 when I was demoted from supervisor although I was pregnant with complications they assured me it wasn't because of that however I still don't know why. I was allowed to keep my pay at least for the next 3years then the new administration took my pay in the middle of a pay period I might add so I was paid two different rates for two weeks pay. I forgot to mention those pregnancy complications stemmed from coming into contact with valproic acd solution that I had to give to one of the individuals who has seizures. I found out years later if taken during pregnancy it causes neurological birth defects. Though I never took it due to it being a liquid and it came into contact with my bare skin it got into my system. Over the years I've been employed here I have pretty much been full time. About three years ago I was working and one of the individuals support Coridnator visited and asked the typical questions and me and the other staff on duty was truthful it caused the house to get a bad rating n the company was fined due to this me n the other young lady were removed from our full time positions to prn temporarily . I was told only because there were no full time slots available but as soon as one would be I would return to full time. Three years later still prn several positions have been available but they refuse to honor their word. I'm also not making hours, they give full time over time and I barely make 30 hours in a two week pay period. I've applied to several companies and I honestly think they are giving me a bad report but they haven't fired me so am I that bad if an employee... Is there anything I can do?Is this means for a lawsuit? If so who do I contact?

I need help because I really hate my job but I am trying to stick it out because I am 6 months pregnant and will be going on paid maternity leave in about 10 weeks or so which will be for 12 weeks but I am not returning to the company afterwards. So in the meantime I have been looking at other opportunities but I am sick of the food industry I want to work somewhere I am excited and passionate about going into work everyday and I already know that is either working with kids or something medical. I have been looking into starting school next year for medical assistant to get started working in the medical field but my end goal is to become a PA. I just came across a flyer today with a training for an ekg technichian its a 2-4 week course completly online and the pay isnt bad here in my area way better than what I am earning in my current company as a supervisor does it make sense to start the course now or should I wait until after I have the baby in January? Should I focus on the pay or something I am excited and passionate about?

Thanks!

I have been offered a job. I became pregnant the same week. So, I informed them about it. Will that affect their decision? They are now in the process of background check.

I am currently 19 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I am looking for a night job or a stay at home job monday through Friday no weekends if possible. My boyfriend works 8 am to 5 pm except when he has to travel he gets home late some nights. If anyone knows of anything I'd really appreciate it. I lost my job at a daycare center for being sick so much in the beginning of my pregnancy. So anything will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
