I learned early on that a good effective leader/Manager, should never ask any employee to do a job that he/she isn’t willing to do themselves. I kept a good balance of Manager/friend relationship. Respect for one another as well as giving each other the benefit of the doubt created a cohesive well oiled machine.

I loved working for my great aunts and grandfather it was after school when I first started . When I was out of school and a little older it was very convenient because I got to be with family and I could bring my kids and didn't have to put them in daycare.
