I'm 16 and trying to get a job that's not babysitting. My mother knows of what I'm trying to do, but she says I can't get a job without an ID. But she hasn't taken me to the DMV to get that done, but I found out the reason why she hasn't helped me get any of this done... If I get a job she cant put me on her taxes.. Is that true or false?

Should I list caregiving for my mother over the last 8 months as work experience on my resume? Caregiving is not relative experience for any of my career interest but I think it’s better than having an 8 month employment gap on my resume. I think it’s also important mention that I wasn’t under any family agreement or received any form of payment or compensation for the time spent caring for my mother. Would this qualify as volunteer, unpaid, or another job category if choose to add it? I’m trying to update my resume now but find myself stuck on this decision.

Do you require a resume or is an application with out a resume and or cover letter acceptable and still would be considered. what if your application or resume indicated that you were a professional person with past professional work experience. Would you still be considered for a baker or cashier job? If not why when people need some sort of income. How can you find out if and How your application is being viewed by managers to decide if they want to contact you. If they are not considering you then why not. Do people who end up getting a job at penera bread get in because someone who already works there recommended them to management at penera bread.
I didn't upload a resume because I am pursuing mechanic and soon about to transition in UTI for school.
