Everything about it. It was outside work and that's what I like to do. All the home owners were nice and grateful for the work I did. Really hate that they shut it down. Miss it!!

Life can really be funny and somehow sometimes why is it that when you don't have anything ( money) you are a nobody in the society why? I was call by a CEO of a company which deals in real estate, I was happy that am getting a contract from the CEO directly.. Could not sleep that night preparing for that contract because I have be dreaming of that job all the time. I got to the office I meet him I greeted him, and the next thing he ask me where did i pack my CAR I told him I don't have a car and he said I can't give you this job and I ask him sir please can I know why? And he said because I don't have a car!!

Definitely the residents, they are all so special to me and I'll always remember them.

Well it started when I moved into their housing apartments I kept to my self a lot I didnt socialize until I had an offer to work with them when they started this program to help tenants with a job that can help them get out and be independent by working as resident monitor. CCIH helped me come out of my shell I had been in for so long. Now I am going to school for my associates degree something I would never have done if I never worked for Contra Cost Interfaith Housing. I appreciate them helping me and my family for so long that's what I love about CCIH.

I like helping people before I do anything for myself

I would have to say that the Reston association is the best job I have ever had. The people there are very nice, it is like a big family. Everyone works real hard and everyone helps each other. If you ever get a chance to work there do it you will never regret it. Susan
