Hi All, I'm a somewhat new BSN grad. I'm looking for an acute care job in downstate NY or NJ. I have licensure in both states. I received my AD in nursing in 2016 and continue with my education online. I received my BSN in Aug. of 2017. My online degree was through Chamberlain, so I didn't have to do a clinical with it. I was and still, am working as a pediatric home care nurse. I have been looking tirelessly for an acute care position since Aug. of 2017 and haven't been successful. If anyone has advice on how to pursue his goal I would appreciate hearing it. Thanks for your time.

I am a recent graduate and I lack work experience in the field....i wish someone would give me a chance though. I'm a fast learner and had amazing grades both book wise and clinically.... on top of that i am expecting so now more than ever i could use a breakthrough. My resume isn't very extensive but has everything I've done and earned and accomplished in this field. Is something I'm doing on my resume preventing me? Do I quit looking in my field and go back to factory work? I don't seem to be having any luck with my job search.

Finding a job in my school field is harder than it looks
