I just graduated from Miller-motte College for Medical Office. I have been out of work since 2002 because I had kidney failure. In 2013 I got bless with a kidney so I it was my desire to go back to work. I have been in the medical field for years but this will be a new adventure for me in this compacity. I know I can do the job but all I need is a chance to prove myself if someone will hire me. I have excellent communication skills and can handle difficult situations with patients. I have learned a lot from going to Miller-motte College and am very eager to go to work. Can anyone give me some pointers in what I should do?

I’m a recent graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I had a job all lined up for when I graduated and something went terribly wrong. It felt like my manager didn’t like me and was setting me up for failure. To give some background, this job is located on the Navajo Nation and has Navajo Preference in hiring and I’m a white female. I was ignored for the most part and my manager should have been more of a mentor. Anyway things didn’t work out and now I’m looking for work and getting very discouraged. It’s really hard to get noticed and obtain credibility in this field especially as a woman. Any advice?

I received my Information Systems Technology degree in May and have been looking for any job that would let me earn sume experience. I know, "intern, volunteer"... I simply can't because I have to work... for money! My student loans are about to become due and I'm still making the same crappy money I was before getting my degree. I have 25 years of customer service experience and ten years with the local public schools. There's got to be someone willing to give me the chance to prove I'm good with computers and technology. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

I am a recent graduate with masters degree in Supply Chain Management and have 4 years of work experience. I have been applying a lot for a full time job and it seems like that even to get a call for an interview, I need some kind of reference. I have the potential and the skillset along with the required level of dedication which will make me an ideal candidate for a job. I am looking forward for any kind of help in terms of mentoring me or connecting me with the right person. Thank you

I recently graduated with a Ph.D in materials science and looking for jobs. Any one else in the same boat?

I am recent graduate (May-2017)(Social Work) I am currently looking for a career. Working with kids is something I want to do.
I recently moved to GA in the Norcross area, closed by Dunwoody, and Duluth.

I am a recent college graduate from California State University, Sacramento with a bachelors' degree of science in Criminal Justice. I am looking for a full-time job that offers on-the-job training and I am open for any wages as long as it's not minimum wages. But, I am not interested in working at a warehouse or at a fast-food restaurant. I have two years of vocational training at Job Corps for security and investigations, but I had a guard card that expired two years ago because I was focused on pursuing my education and I have at least three years of non-paid volunteering experiences from Sac State Blood Drive, Sac State Safe Rides, working as Senior Gleaners, Inc. as a student volunteer for one day and I have also volunteered at the Sac State 5k Mustache Run handing out water and snacks to runners after completing the entire course around the campus field.

Hey everyone, I am looking to figure out what I might be doing wrong in my job search, or if there is some resource that someone has utilized that might be beneficial to me. I am 22 and just finished my BA in Psychology this last May. I was hoping to go into HR with my current place of work, but they are not set to have any job opens for another 6 months. I am looking to make at least 40k a year full time with some sort of benefits package if I am lucky. I have used Monster, Aerotek, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Robert Half, and a few other job finding services or my own contacts to try to find a job but haven't had any luck. I have 4 references who all love me and my work ethic from 3 prior jobs, I have open availability for working any time of day and any day of week. I have an aptitude for data entry, Microsoft Office, I have a good customer service and supervisor/management background, and speak Spanish on an Intermittent level. I spend about 30+ hours a week on interviews or on the job hunt in some fashion or improving skills to put on my resume. I purchased a professional resume package from TopResume and have classes on how to give a good interview. All in all I expected to have at least attained my one goal of finding a full time job somewhere in the 15-20 mile radius after 4 months of looking so that I could start making payments on my school loans. Does anyone have any advice for me?? James
