I have a past that is undesirable when looking at it on paper. I in fact, have been to prison for a period of time, in which time, I actually became a business professional, generating $1M dollar deals in omni channel marketing & lead-gen, from behind bars. 😲 True Story!! Browse Televerde and Televerdefoundations. I need help to not put effort into applying for perfect jobs if the criteria is specific about what can and cannot qualify me. I keep getting jobs 1st interview, but then cannot end up training because background check is back. No explanation or further interest. Please give me some tips .. Thanks in advance for info.

Greetings, My name is junior hedgemon and I'm a convicted felon. I was sentence to 25yrs back in 1990 and was released from prison in 2013. I have payed my dues for my crime. I'm not on parole and yet I can't get a place in my name , can't get a decent paying job and all of this is due to my background. I'm 48 years old and was 16 years old when I went to prison and been out for about 8 years. The Second Chance Program denied me due to YELP my background. They said since I had a murder charge that's why they didn't help me with a place to stay. I think that people don't and want understand the frustration until they are facing it themselves. I'm not trying to get anything for free just want the same opportunity as the next. When it come time for Uncle Sam to dig in my little check that's the only time I'm treated like a citizen and my background doesn't even come into play . I got into trouble as a child and did my time . I came out as a changed man but I come to realize that this government that was supposed to be for the people is nothing but a joke. Our past president declare war on this land I wonder if he have to worry about a background check.SMH #backgroundcheck

I recently filled an application out at a nursing home and I didn't tell the truth about my past felony situation. I haven't heard from them either. I believe if I would've told the truth on the application and presented my pardon from the court I would be working today. What do anyone think?

Hi I'm new to this site and I'm looking for a job opportunity that pays well and will keep me busy. I'm an ex felon and have changed my life around. I don't have a lot of work history. But I have done many different jobs over the years working with friends. I enjoy work that is physical and keeps me moving. I enjoy working with animals. I have some experience in driving heavy machinery. Bobcat, bulldozer, front end loader, back hoe, enclosed cab John deer trackers w/bushhog. I've done a lot of painting apartments and homes. Mowing and land scaping. Brush removal. Chainsaw work. Over the years I've gotten to be a very hard worker. I've always had to out shine everyone. Just to get a job.i put 100% effert into my work. Some one please give me an opportunity to shine.im looking for a job that at least pays 15.00 hr. W/benefits. Something that will keep me busy. I'm not interested in fast food or desk jobs. I'm strong and motivated to prove myself. im on 6 years probation and can't afford to mess up. I promise you give me an opportunity to work and I'll be your hardest worker.

Why is it fair that a job can judge you based on something you did when you were 19 -21. Especially if I haven't been in any trouble since. I was offered a job then was told I could no longer mover forward because my background check came back flagged the incident happen in 2000. How is this fair or right
