I and my former coworker feel that I was wrongfully terminated. For the last several months of my job, I was obviously being targeted and unfairly singled out. I have a flash drive full of evidence. The office manager even seemed to act maliciously towards me. Despite the overwhelming stress affecting certain cognitive abilities, I hung in there. I have a meeting scheduled with Industrial Affairs to finalize my complaint against my former employer, a nationwide IP firm. BTW, my coworker quit as soon as she found out I was fired. My boss even lied about my separation, stating it was a mutual separation; I received benefits despite their claim.
Since 7/31, I think I’m finally mentally ready to work again.
My concern: How do I explain my separation and lengthy absence after the separation date? Also, I fear my boss will state that they wouldn’t rehire me or even elaborate with close administrators.

What's the quickest way to get rehired by FedEx?

I was looking to get rehired from a job i had ince before. I worked for this company for 10 years before i resigned. Had a interview and all and they seem so hapoy that i wanted to come back. As i was waiting on the outcome basically waiting on approval from corporate. Everything seem to becoming a yes answer but when i call and ask fir the answer it was a no due to tgr fact of some Tardies and absentees from way back then. My father pass at tgat time and i was out for my mothers surgery. I had approval from my store manager and others. I dont understand at all about this answer. I left the right way..no call ins the last two weeks and work all hours. Is this grounds for a lawyer? Pkeade let me know.

I am looking for recommendations from management. I was let go from my previous job for performance issues while I was dealing with my husband's issues and having a new born. I do not think the values reported to the HR department were accurate, but was too emotional to pursue a review. I tried to reach out to such previous manager to ask her about what I should put on my applications as far being fired...whether I could maybe put leaving on my own accord, but she won't return my calls. Advice from management?

I worked for this company for over 15 years but towards the end I quit due to personal family issues. I did not leave on good terms but later when my life calm down my boss offered me my job back. I was excited and thankful to be given another chance but apparently someone heard about it and she took back her offer. Fast forward to 2016, I was hired at the same company but different location so I was happy but before I actually started my job I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. I told my new boss, she wasn't happy but I didn't think I could work while doing chemotherapy. So I declined the position at that time. Now I have been in remission for over a year and I have put in a total of 47 applications. I cannot understand why I am not getting any call backs except for one I did get. It was a recruiter who was reaching out to me to let me know the manager will also contact me. During our conversation I told her about having cancer but that I am in remission. She told me to not tell that to the manager. I was confused but I said ok. The manager never called and from then on no recruiter called me again. Now I have a total of 25 years experience so I'm wrll qualified. So I filed a complaint to see why because they are not suppose to discriminate. Today I did receive another call from a recruiter saying that the reason wht I haven't been hired is because I am listed as a no rehire which makes no sense. The new manager put that and I have never once worked with her because I had cancer so on what grounds or right did she have to put that? I was shocked because of I was a no rehire tgen the recruiter would have never called me to let me know the manager will call me. I'm trying to do everything the right way but this is keeping me from working and I do mot know why this manager who really did not know me would put that.

New to locale waffle house , but am prior employee if almost eight years, serving cooperate store and franchises. Question is will I still be expected to train or is their a test to which I can clept out if training and float straight to hired position?

I worked at a company over 10 years ago and rapidly moved up the chain, was training other employees, and was very dependable. I put in my 2 weeks notice way back then and left on great terms. I got the opportunity to go back to school and focus on school only and not have to work, so I did. Flash forward to present day. I now have a Masters degree and am able to teach at the college level. I'm an adjunct professor but am only teaching 1 class this semester so I have applied to other companies for either part time or full time flexible employment. One of the companies I've applied to is the company I'd worked for years ago and left on good terms. I've actually applied to them 4 different times in the last 4 months and all they do is after about a month send out the customary "job has been filled" email. I've even stated I was a former employee that left on great terms and have a familiarity with the work they do. I called up to their corporate office one day to ask about my applications and they said a new company handles the hiring and they would get back to me. Of course they never really did and I've never spoken to a an actual manager at the location I worked at because its a well guarded secure building. I have a good hunch that no one's actually read my resume or application. It's actually a dumb move on their part to not hire me. If I was an employer or owner of a business, I would welcome people back especially one's that were reliable and dependable, and that knew how the company operates. Hmmmm? Very strange. I still probably have an application (or two) still out there with them but I could care less if they hire me now.

I got invited to go back to work at Amazon this season but after going through half the process, learned I'm not eligible until next summer. Can this be changed so I can go back to work this season?
