Before an individual decides to leave his/her job: ALWAYS think of: your kids/ spouse, how will you pay your bills? Shelter, clothing, and all of the necessities that YOUR individual household will also leave/ be depleted of! If its possible, request a transfer! If the issues are petty, weigh the pros/ cons( paper & pen)! Pray before you make ANY move( talking to HR, speaking with corporate, etc...)!

I have a job where I work my ass off but have a leader who is very lazy...i am 60 yrs.old getting sick of working my tail off...i am a very qualified maintenance worker and know my trade...i can fix everything, but it doesn't seem to be enough for my superior...i can't wait to be able to retire but can't afford to.

At my previous company, there was a policy dead set against working at home -- and yet, in a very open, cafeteria-style office, writing was usually impossible. What's the difference between having my butt in the seat with headphones on, and physically accessible to my stakeholders, and letting me write at home once in awhile, where I'm available electronically to my stakeholders?

I was just fired 3 days ago for attendance when I was hospitalized 4 days ago. I have never been written up or even talked to about my attendance. I was carried by ambulance so I was unable to call in so it was classified as a no call no show. Upon discharge, I called but no one returned my calls. After calling the next day, I was told "after consideration of previous events we will continue with the termination process." It's been 4 days since the "no call no show" and I'm still not terminated. So I can't even apply for help while talking with an attorney. The catch: I was 7 days shy of my 90 day mark within the corporation!! This feels so wrong but I feel stuck. Can someone please help or offer some advise?

I have been working as an office manager for 5 and a half years for one company. About the beginning of 2017 the owner had a lot of personal issues happen and reacted badly to it. He started spending large amounts of money that should have gone to venders and started getting to work hours late. He has a hair trigger temper and never apologizes at all. It has become HUGE and completely toxic to work in. I have been job hunting without him knowing but it is getting worse and worse. He screamed at me today in front of techs and threw and broke a couple of printers. I can't just quit because I need the income but I am having a hard time finding a good paying job. What can I do? He is the owner so there is no one higher to go to.

I was injured on the job (Fire\Rescue) 4 years ago. Now after 5 spine operations and a ruptured appendix later I think I'm healing. How do I work the only job I've spent a lifetime gaining education and experience when I'm unable to carry people?

I loved my last job. I worked there for 14 years. Had to leave to go to Missouri because my mom had a stroke. Then we saw my dad was sick and 5 days later he died. My employer couldn’t hold my position for the 6 months it took me to pack my moms houses up and move her back to NM.

What to do when your development resources become scarce and potentially harm a deadline?
If you're like me, you take the success of your organization seriously. But do not let your devotion to succeed blind you to the fundamental parts of problem solving.
Communication - communicate to your superiors and, when appropriate, the client. Client transparency is very important, especially in organizations utilizing modern project management.

I've been laid off since 9/30. From then until now I've had two promising interviews where the interviewing party was pleased with how I interviewed and wanted to take the next steps. In both instances the interviewing party took near 3-4 weeks to reply and when they did, they were not able to move forward due to upper management not approving the budget for a new resource. This is getting old. Now that we're at the end of the year, it is common for a lot of businesses to enter (or may have already entered) a blackout period. I really want to work....Frustrated.
