invested big time on a college degree I finally finished this year but still NO job. I got a good resume, smart blue suit, and my interviews are strong. am I missing anything?

I applied to countless jobs and barely got to interview anywhere until I started “acting” the part of the type of person the company was interested in. Why are they looking for someone so specific?
