Since my accident while driving for Lyft I am without a vehicle and reside near a handful of warehouses I decided to check those within walking distance. Most want you to go through a temp agency which I didn't want because I need a full salary. I finally get the ok from one. I fill out application then had a fone interview 2 days later I get call for in person interview then a walk through. 3 1/2 wks no response so I contact the temp within the company. Yesterday had interview walk through mouth swab and selected my shift. Looking good. Told me I'd get email today if swab came back clear so I can fill out necessarily paperwork so I can start Monday. I got call today saying all candidates names passed to HR he was told they have a hold on mines because they still reviewing. WHAT reviewing there is ppl who getting hired everyday what's the hold up. If not trying to give me a job just say so I'm a grown woman I can handle it. This on hold isn't Kool . I called left message bout 2 wks ago no response. Do I call again or should I just forget about being hired ????

I'm looking for a choose your own hours position like Uber or Lyft but for package or medical delivery. Prefer compensation by mileage and the ability to be carrying more than one job at a time. I don't mind long shifts or driving late at night. I can put in as many as 40 or 50 hours a week. Extremely knowledgeable of all highways and hourly traffic behavior throughout the day in Orange County, Riverside County and North county San Diego. Happy to cover the entire triangle from Los Angeles to Riverside to San Diego.

My name is Skipper Cassady, Jr., I'm 55 years old and disabled with Cerebral Palsy. I'm looking for a part-time job in the Guerneville area. I have my own car and I'm interested in becoming a Uber/Lyft driver. However, I don't drive on freeways. Are there any leads? My car is modified with hand controls. Thank you.

The conversations with people who are not from here. Driving is a calming thing for me. I love decorating for the holidays.

Trying to get back in to the Workforce, I was a homemaker for the last 15 years. I have had a few jobs during that time periodically. I drive for Uber and Lyft. I feel like I'm starting over. I need help with interviews. Suggestions please.

I have been working as a Caregiver for several years and also a Nanny/babysitter since I moved to SC from FL. In FL I worked in the Clerical Field which I enjoyed doing. I want to change my Career now. I am driving Uber Eats at this time. I tried going into Retail but the companies seem to want experienced people. Because that's the first thing they ask. They say I have the personality for the position but prefer experience in the job. Do you have any advice on how to change my Career?
