Do not fall for this or reply to this. These people are 100% thieve's out to steal your money. We ran them off of Craig's List. If you need more information on how this scam works, here is an article from the FCC https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2016/08/how-spot-car-wrap-scam

One big problem I'm finding is our resumes are floating around everywhere. My resume caught the eyes of a couple of scammers. I had to use common sense because there are desperate people who's only job is to fool you and steal what they can. Double check everything they say " if it's ti be true it probably is".

Good Evening, Jobcase Community!

This evening, I encountered a job scam in my Messages from a member named "henry chein". He has been sending other members personal e-mails regarding job opportunities, seeing their resumes online, and inviting them to Google Hangouts for interviews with the hiring managers and DEMANDING them to do the interviews on specific times and dates along with demanding their personal information and payment. Is there a way to report scammers on Jobcase? Please let me know!

Have a good weekend and thank you!

I was looking at some openings and came across a posting of Ashley Wilson's and someone commented that they had a work from home job that paid 1k a month. I thought it would be good since I already had another part time job. I contacted this number- eight, zero, four, seven, two, three, zero, zero one, zero. He contacted me back and said the following. I'm starting to think this is a scam from the check sellers to get their checks bought. He stopped replying after I asked for his name. He said his name is Michael Greg. The name of the supposedly company is Payrollhr. Just want ya'll to be aware as I saw another post where they are supposedly paying $1200 for the same job title but with a different person. Now I'm stuck with the checks that I bought.

Even though he did something bad to me but i still respect that it was my fault that i trust him. I am desperate to have a job but that desperate makes me trust a home job request and they send me a check in which i have to buy working materials with to start working from home. I was stupid enough to go to the bank to deposit the check. I had a feeling that something feels wrong so i ask the staff to open a new account but when we were going to complete the registration the good gentlemen ask me for the company's name and how i got the job and i started to explain then his face turn from smiling to curious. He then ask for a lady's help and they both told me that the check is a fake and they have this issue everyday. I was so ashamed and angry at myself for trusting. I got back home and call the bank that write the check and they confirm that the check is missing something therefore it is a fake. So, please everyone out there be very more careful of who you trusting lucky for me the staff was so nice to me and they explain everything and gave me advice.

Hello, recently I was applying for home-based jobs and I gave my phone number and got a call from Online Team Builders. I don't recall them really even mentioning the name of their company as I only found out through the interview. Anyways, they offered a free trial for training so I filled out my address and the same phone number I gave them before. They didn't ask for my credit card information, so I assume it is safe, and I wasn't going to just give it to them for a "free" training trial. So my question is, is am I in danger? I read that this Online Team Builders is a scam and perhaps I'm a bit paranoid but they kept asking for my age and wanting to be sure I am over the age of 18. I am currently 19, turning 20 in less than a month but they kept asking my age over and over. I know this must sound silly but I'm scared that I could have put myself in danger in real life by giving out my address for the free trial. To clarify, I ONLY gave out my address and phone number. I did not give out my SSN, credit card numbers, it was only my address. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
