When I was hired at Docside, I thought it was great. Unfortunately, I was lied to when I was hired. I specifically said in my interview If this is a seasonal job the interview was over. I did not want the job. I was assured this was a year round job. I accepted the job and began working. As time went on, I noticed that their was alot of shady things taken place. Now if you are someone who will compromise your values, and you will stab ppl in the back, or throw them under the bus. You will fit right in. Do not express your opinion on how things are done, you will be yelled at for it. They will tell you they want input and new ideas.
I was Sous Chef there. I made my thoughts and ideas known. I also voiced my opinions about things I witnessed in the kitchen. Everything I know and have years of experience with, well , that went out the window. What I was hired for I as not allowed to do. Then the busy season ends. And I was let go. I was lied to about this being year round empmoyment, was hired to run the kitchen while the head chef took vacation, then no longer had a job. Was called at home on my day off and told I was fired. When I asked for termination letter, I was not given one. I was on paper Laid off!

I found this information online for a Kroger hiring event happening this week at the new store in Drury North, Indiana. They will be interviewing for cashiers, bakery, deli workers, executive, and sous chefs. See news info (http://cbs4indy.com/2015/07/28/kroger-hopes-to-fill-more-than-300-positions-in-indianapolis-area/)

The job fair is scheduled to begin Tues Aug 11 - Thurs Aug 13 from 10am - 6pm at the new Kroger location on 8180 Shadeland Avenue, Drury North, IN. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply online (https://jobs.kroger.com) before attending the job fair.

Dress for success, take plenty of resumes, and be sure to share your experience with us in the Jobcase community if you attend.

Best of Luck!!
