Hands down the worst job experience I’ve ever had. After being micromanaged in front of customers my first 3 days, the 4th day my boss sat me down and asked me if i wanted to keep my job. When i said yes, she went on to emphasize all of the mistakes i had been making and was basically making it seem like I was too stupid to work there. Keep in mind, this was my FOURTH DAY. After a few weeks of insanely stressful morning shifts, I took the initiative of putting in a request to work night shifts instead, when my boss was usually away. My first day of working the night shift, the morning shift manager was still there, watching me work and made a few comments towards me, basically just calling me lazy in front of the night shift manager. Later on during the shift, my night shift manager asked me how many jobs I had been fired from the past. Confused, I asked him what had prompted him to say that and he informed me that my boss had told him that I had switched to night shift just so I can “slack off” and he was supposed to give me a “pep talk” to get me to work harder. At this point I felt absolutely ganged up on and filed a complaint with HR the next morning. That night when I got to work, I clocked in right on time and went to the bathroom. When i returned to the floor, my boss who was still there from the morning shift took me aside and told me that she was going to consider me late to my shift for using the bathroom. She then told me that, and I quote, “everybody is thinking that they want to kill you”. HR never took any action and I continued to be taken aside for every little mistake I made, until eventually I was fired for trying to use my partner numbers on a friend’s order to get them a free drink.

I loved the customer connection and the camaraderie with my coworkers. We were cross trained on all positions, so I was seldom bored. I also liked the free drinks during work shifts.

It's been almost a week and I've been working as a barista at Starbucks. This job has been giving me great benefits and made me very happy. My coworkers and boss are very nice, kind, caring, understanding, and helpful. They take the time out of their lives to help me improve at my job. I also get paid more than I need to and every Friday of every week is payday. The employee discounts are amazing, as well. All is going well with this job than my old one. I've never felt so happy.

I was having a tough time getting my groove so to speak and my manager would be a positive reinforcer. She would encourage me as much as she could by saying " you will get this"

I loved everything about it,I loved the people, trying the new flavors learning all the positions.

Starbuck email me me will go interview him tomorrow 12:00 noon hope I will excite work love janitor

I had a lady come through the drive through after we had a lot of complications with her and helping her figure out her mobile app, despite my manager asking very politely if she could pull around and come in so we could help her she wouldn’t leave the drive through. My manager comped their drinks and the next lady was quite unhappy with me. I explained we were helping the women with her app but she blew off the apology and said I’m late for work then proceeded to cuss at me for a solid 2 minutes. We gave her a recovery card, told her to have a great day, so sorry for the wait, and moved to the next customer.
