I want to say for myself I have finally landed a job with the county on Friday I had a interview and was hired on the spot! I was so happy I was glowing no fears just walked in claiming it. I am so grateful and blessed. I can finally say after years of being at jobs with contracts I can finally breath and say I landed my dream job. I can finally share that my prayers have been answered. I don’t mean to preach but it wasn’t not easy through my years. But I didn’t give up on hope I kept pushing. When I walked out of my interview all I can tell them is thank you and give hugs showing my appreciation to this company. Now I can move forward to what awaits for me. I have goals and now I know when they say the sky is the limit I fully believe in that saying. I hope this post will help someone not give up.

I got the call that I was offered a job! It doesn't pay as much as I would like, but I'm also working toward getting on with VIPkid. They mentioned several time that there is room for growth and I think that even if this isn't a forever career, the experience will definitely help my resume. Keep applying! You can do it!

Going back to work at my former place of employment on the 28th of this month, a similar position and money. after 2 plus years of looking and looking and looking, all I can say is PHEWWWW!! And God had nothing to do with it because I didn't want to burden him with my employment problems and I didn't want to jeopardize our friendship, besides he's too busy with his Master plan to act as my personal Head hunter!!

I had applied at just about every local job I could qualify for with no luck. I was seriously running out of places to apply at. I finally landed a full time position with the Del Mar Fair as a parking director. This job has many possibilities for better oppertunities within the company if they like you. Keep the faith and never give up.... Keep knocking untill somebody opens the door for you.

I seriously did not think I’d ever get out of working in fast food joints for the rest of my life at a certain point. But I applied around and eventually found a job with waste management collecting trash. Yeah I’m one of the guys hanging off the truck dumping in trash and stuff. I love it honestly. Some people ask me how I could like a job like that and I’m like those benefits and the pay really talks. When all you’ve done is flip burgers and get paid next to nothing the pay and the benefits are like night and day. Wouldn’t change a thing.

A while back I was unemployed and broke and struggling after my former employer went under but I ended up becoming a manager at Dollar General. I feel like they really took a chance on me. It was up to me to learn a whole new system but I got a good rep with my store and even though managing a store can sometimes be tough I got the hang of it. After a while I’m now on track to move up to the district level. I always will remember Dollar General as where I turned around that awful rut.
