They pay well, I work as CNC tech. They sent me to training school for an CNC tech since I had no experience at it. One of the best jobs I ever had. They never put any pressure to fix anything. I left because they got ride of pension.
It could lead to procurement. Contractors use them to buy everything they need from toilet paper to building materials. You will get to know many vendors and what they offer for the best deal and price.
