I have quite a few that are highly visible and so far it seems to be acceptable in most work places but I worry that I might be barred from other positions as a result of having them. I don't regret them but I wonder if maybe the work place is becoming more understanding of them. What has your experience been?

I've been covering up up the tattoos on my arms for job interviews to avoid being unfair prejudice from people who don’t know any better but i’m concerned about misleading employers that hire me then get upset when I show up to work with my tattoos exposed. Should I tell employers I have arm tattoos during the interview?

So I have visible american indian pride tattoos. They arent exactly easy to cover up. Ive seen way to many people sporting full sleeves in the corporate office, in the courts, and other places. Why are people having such a problem with it?

Hi. It's been a while since I've had to look for new employment. I've spent 15 years as a legal assistant at a very corporate law firm and 6 years as HR for a notoriously liberal employer. I have some tattoos on my arms and I have a small piercing on my nose. If I was interested in going back to the corporate sector, do you think my tattoos and piercing would disqualify me? Thanks!

I have been applying for jobs for almost 6 months. I have 2 college degrees and very good work history. I get calls all days long due to my resume for me to come in for an interview. I dress professional and hygiene on point. BUT.. SOON as they see the tattoos on my kneck and teardrop under my eye, it's automatically shuts down. This is something I done with I was a kid and regrets it everyday of my life. Can someone tell me how to get passed this
