Hi everyone........I am currently working, but I've applied for a job as an RF Technician for a company in West Caldwell, NJ several times now over the past several years and received no response. I've reached out to their human resources department to no avail. I was hoping whoever reads this might know someone at this company?

My biggest mistake as a female technician was excepting to train a male. Its a man ego thing. But what can I say, I was one of the best they had on the field.

Dilime your machines monthy or at least every 2 months the most. That is very important. Customers need their coffee. You wouldn't get service calls every day. I had no service calls but 1 every 3-4 months all because I took my time to delime every machine I was responsible of.

Looking for work in the Haynesville or Permian Basin

I go to all Customers homes with the mindset of being the last man out. I have several thank you editorial in the Aiken standard newspaper! I especially remember 2 vividly, 1 was I went to the Customer's home on Thanksgiving Day, for an ingress problem (local channels bleeding in on cable channels), I spent roughly 2 Hrs found a bad drop but that and connectors at side of house didn't fix it then went into attic after finding out they had 3 sets with and only one came to outside. In the attic I found the problem whoever installed the additional outlets had been spliced in in the attic, cables twisted ltogether, no connctors not even a splitter, I fixed this problem with connectors and a splitter. The customer informed not only was the ingress gone, but they hadn't had such good reception on all channels and tvs in years, and I was 5th or 6th person out for the same problem. I had fixed their problem beyond expectations, they then asked me to stay for Thanksgiving Dinner, which I graciously declined as I had my Family's Thanksgiving Dinner later in the evening! 2nd Customer was having reception problems but it was not happening when I went out, I changed out everything but a day or two later they called back eventually I caught their problem, a bad set. They didn't take me at my word so I put a splitter behind their set and hooked up my test set, naturally problem had stopped by the time My set was hooked up, so I left my test set hooked up with their's, a few days later I went to check on them they had gone out and bought a new Zenith 26" TV, I set the new set up adjusted the settings, taught them how to use the remote as their old set was the oldest 13" TV I had ever seen! I left thinking I wouldn't be back their for awhile. Much to my surprise, I had them on my morning route sheet the next day, so I went back, that's when the Customer told they were sorry to have to call me back, the lady of the house said the picture was beautiful, but her husband was ALLERGIC to Color! I had never heard of that before, but I turned off the color and tint controls off! From then til I left the company, I wasn't sent back to to their home! The moral off their story was persistence paid off the bad thing about it was they had a $700.00 Black and White TV! When I left the company they "Retired" my Tech #! When I go in to the office to pay my bill, all of the CSRA that are still at the cable office, which has changed hands and using a call center now, beg me to come back or say hey we're hiring!
