Most want a nursing degree with several years in Medsurg or ICU.

I am a Texas A&M University alumni with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Geoscience currently looking for a job where I will be able to continue expanding my knowledge. My coursework was selected with a focus in hydrology and water resources.

Labor position depends on what company hires you it has many different training. Which you learn on the job site.

I suggest trying the various temp to hire agencies, as they can place you in different areas of labor. Hope this helps.

Hi Liz, certainly being detail oriented and having the ability to influence and steer people is very helpful. Also being able to understand the big picture and where the project you are managing fits in is very useful. Lastly I'd recommend working on a PMP certification to help get you in the door, if you do not have any experience leading projects. However, experience can get you pretty far. Project management is a skill necessary in many jobs. If you can start to build a story around how you have project managed without the title, you may not need the PMP. Hope this helps!

I am currently retired from the Yonkers Fire Department. Serving as a Lieutenant I worked in all aspects of fire prevention and fire suppression. I have completed all state training courses and qualify as a first responder. I know that if employed in this field I will be a great asset to your team. Respectfully, John Barone

Home health calls the field RN a case manager because she directs the care. Medicaid case managers go through a class to teach them how to obtain and provide members with services to stay out of the nursing home. Both require knowledge of the aging process
