Hey lets be serious about this thing some states go up based on inflation other give a ----- , but am like this a a worker for real we stick together we can ask then demand fair wages ,but until then company rules will be the only voice so stand -up people it does work look at McDonald workers we love them fries

I was termed from job of almost 16 years for making 2 corrected mistakes. The union begged for the company to "just give me something" and that's exactly what they did. Offered me a job in housekeeping making $20000 less because of tips. What ever happened to loyalty? What ever happened to unions fighting for your jobs? I feel like a housewife that husband asked for a divorce cause he wants to move in his younger girlfriend but tells the wife she can stay in the house and be their maid. A new job can't come fast enough!

I've been working maintenance at a hotel for the last 3 years. I like my job but it's not really something I see as a career. My problem is finding a job that relates to my military experience. I have electronic repair, calibration, and electro mechanical experince plus I have my associates degree in electrical technology. I've tried the union but i dont want to have to train all over again on what i already know.

Been doing drywall for 20 years journeyman run tools and finish any broke a any texture hard working man on time people-friendly responsible looking for full-time union job

I help organize a union campaign at Golden Dragon Sunnysouth Alabama and got fired and can't find a job

I have been a union electrician since I graduated high school 18 yrs ago. I've been very lucky in the fact that I never had to travel to find work, I was always home working or living on unemployment when the work dried up. It is going to be a life shattering culture shock to work in a non-union environment. I am not looking for work as an electrician since I am not allowed so I know I'm in for a pay cut, I will be able to handle that but I don't know if I will be able to survive the environment itself. I was wondering if there's anyone else out there that has been through this same scenario and if you have any tips to help the transition.

Hi Jobcase
I am trying to get a job as a railroad conductor which I know has unions. Unions are great to get benefits and find jobs...but only if your already in one! It seems like none of these companies wants to hire new people to be able to get into the unions unless your dad or your friend is already in.
What am I supposed to do to get this job?
