I used to work at a UPS call center and the best thing is I remember my hourly rate steadily increasing with my experience. I have never had a job where you didn’t have to scrap and beg for every little raise. My work moved quickly and the pay just got better with time. Had to move though or would’ve stayed.
Since I retired I have been driving for Lyft for a while, but I wanted to do a little something more but part-time. So I applied at UPS and I got hired as a package handler. I start training next week and I've never been happier.
Can’t wait until I hit a year at UPS so my benefits kick in. I also don’t need to work out anymore as lifting and sorting heavy boxes throughout my shift basically takes care of itself. I’ll hit a year this coming Septemberr so that will be nice. Good pay and very teamwork oriented workplace so if that sounds good to you just be ready to put 100 percent in every shift and you’ll like it here
