I loved working there. It was fast paced and hands on. I also had great supervisors!

Waking up super early to go to work, it’s rough at first but you get used to it as well as the packages, it might seem overwhelming the first couple of times. But It’s the same thing everyday. You end up finding your own methods that work for you. It’s like a mixture of matching colors/ numbers if you sort and a game of Tetris if you load trucks/trailers.

It was like working out extensively everyday at whatever you start time was..so with that said..eating accordingly..and drinking plenty of fluids with a regimen of energy snacks to give it your best everyday...and you will be fit big time....

I’m interested in working with ups #ups

Terrible management. High turnover rate. No cross training. Poor pay.

Ups has good benefits and the pay starts to get better if you bid to get different jobs. That's how you get quick pay raises. However, some of the work there is very hard cause you have to be able to load and unload so many pkgs to keep to the trucks ready to move out. I was there 5 years. Yard shifter, loved my job and was good at it til I was injured. After that they screwed me over really really bad. Most people don't last very long there cause it is hard work starting off but if you can make it til the job bids come out. You can make good easy money.

I have a different opinion, UPS has a lot of benefits but there’s a lot of favoritism and discrimination, I worked for ups for 23.5 years and I got terminated because I threw a chair to an open area. They told me that I was misscoudocted. I saw people abusing authority, folsefing records, hiding service providers.fisicaly abusing other employees and they all got their jobs, just watch if you decide to work for ups

Their culture of promotion from within and the investment that they make in their employees.

I like the patience and compassion shown to employees during trying times. Also the promotion within the company .

As long as you breath ...you should get hired

You should go back on to the ups website....and check if there was a problem with your application....
Yes !! Working sure the AM pre-load was a lot of fun; no interaction with the public, laid back supervisors, pressure to make sure trucks were ready, lots of laughing (a few tears), dirty jokes and good team building. Sure, there were days of frustration but they were few as long as issues were addressed.
