I was harassed by management, forced to leave my office, then threatened with my job if I didn't testify against the employee when she threatened harm to a manager.

To land a job at #USPS I would make sure to...

The managemen at Bluffton, SC away force the employees to work faster. They don’t care about u and they are very discriminating .

Well after giving up and ready to quit. I found my forever career at the USPS. Great pay, great benefits and all the overtime I can work. If you are looking for a job then apply they are hurting fir staff. I always thought that you had to be someone special to get these jobs. Well you do. You have to WANT to work and you have a gigantic school diploma. That's all.

After someone starts at #USPS they should stay because

Great benefits and great pay but most importantly the postal service is a company that you can take pride in.we strive to do the very best that we can be for our customers.we really care about each and every customer unlike what other people may think.always trying to think of things that we could do to serve our customers better.Taking pride and feeling good at the end of the day, knowing that you gave it your all is a great feeling. That is a good thing to take away from my years with the post office. Now that I am retired from the post office I still take that feeling with me everyday. For that I am Thankful.zthank you.for asking.Gloria lee-RURAL CARRIER,RETIRED

No matter what job you do at the USPS, it will be one of the most difficult jobs you will ever do. The mail is heavy and pretty dirty and sometimes you have to deal with angry customers who are unhappy with their service. If you are in your early 20s, you might enjoy the job because you can build a career there and get great benefits. But you will have to be a non career employee for about 3yrs or more before you become permanent. Some supervisors are very condescending and talk to you like a child, others are not helpful. You will make money because you will work very long hours and work 6 days a week mandatory. It's not for everyone. Its definitely not for someone who actually wants to have a life. And don't let me get started on working out in the elements! Rain, sleet, snow wind and butter cold.... get used to it because the mail never stops being delivered.
