I feel really bad. I went job hunting so I got a call from this company I did my interview I got hired. Did 2 day's orientation. Got my picture for my ID I mean everything was gr8 until another company called me. And they offered me the same position but there is a 3$ and 15 cents different. Needless to say I took that job n just never returned to the first do you think I'm wrong I feel sorta guilty.

What to do when the people you work for are so cheap they cut corners by cutting pay and hours. Mind you I was making 8.40 as a housekeeper and these Indie guys bought out Motel 6 and reduced all of us to 7.25 saying he can't afford to pay his workers that much. What do I do???

I’ve been working my current job since September 2017 getting 36 hrs a week and have 3 kids with wife being disabled but not getting disability benefits. My job started shorting 20.00 a week on paychecks and I sent them emails every week about being short so last month decided to cut my hrs to 14 hrs a week cause I complain about my checks being short .. How long does it usually take an employee to start from basic $15.00 an hour jobs,.to getting a salary paying position?

I was a manager at a hotel. I continually had issues with an employee being very disrespectful to the point I was being called vulgar names numerous times I had talked to our gm about the issue and nothing was ever done nor said to this employee. So I quit. I gave the gm a few warnings before hand because anywhere else this employee would have been reprimanded or something. Now he's refusing to pay me my wages.

Its so hard not being able to find a job. I went on an interview i thought i nailed it but it didnt work out for me. Im still looking but i was offered a job working in a convenient store in the kitchen its a 4am-9am shift its ok hours and i know most people would say good hours whats the issue but i would feel like im settling just bc its a job but thinking about my kids and they did get robbed a couple of weeks ago. Makes me think about my safety and yea someone may come in and npt do anything but than someone could come in and do something crazy im just so confused as to what i should do. I know i would leave as soon as i found something else bc its 20 hours a wk and i just cant live off 180 or less a wk but my daughter and her friend got me the job so i dont want to make them upset so that would be why im taking it partly what to do???

My position I had with Sam's club for 19 years was eliminated. I wasn't fired. They are downsizing managers and my position was one of them. There was no notice. They came in one day and said today is your last day hand in your keys. So now I'm 56 years old with no job. I was a very dedicated employee. I need a job here in spring hill florida asap fulltime. I was making $45000 a year.
