Hello. I've been trying to think positive and hopeful as I continuously apply for jobs and wait for replies. Meanwhile, I am using my opportunity to write to avoid believing anything negative about why I haven't been called yet. Today, my fifth article was approved on vocal media and I invite anyone interested in reading it to visit the site. I sincerely hope everyone is receiving blessings in the job hunt. I know it's hard to believe, but you'll find something that will probably be better than you thought you can get. Don't give up cause I'm definitely not. If you're as religious as I try to be, have faith and pray with belief that you deserve it! Anyway, best of luck on the job search to everyone and if you're a reader, check me out my article at the link included. https://beat.media/an-appreciation-for-music

Happy Saturday to everyone in our community! I hope everyone is progressing successfully in the search for work and money-making opportunities! Like you, I'm not giving up! I'm so excited to share with you all that I have another story published on the vocal.media site under the category or community titled HUMAN. You're welcome to read it! It's titled "WORST DAY EVER". You'll probably find humor in it because I can now! Thanks to anyone and everyone who has read or is considering reading my stories.

I needed change. I need a new gig a new direction and I saw an add for a copywriter position and it seemed interesting, of course I was picturing some mad men-esque situation of creativity and drinking but, i also imagined writing again. I have been a writer for many years and many theatrical venues but, copy writing, never. But I applied and got the interview. When i walked in the office it hit me that I was old. much older than even my CEO and part of me gave up. how could I possibly change my life at this stage of the game? I interviewed, was honest, was true and I got hired. I started learning things day one, hard and fast and now, i feel solid and string and i don't think about the age thing. it is never too late to try, it is never to late to redefine yourself. No one is going to believe in you but you. Risk, leap, change it up, trust yourself. If your gut says yes, then take it as gospel, why not? years mean experience. For me, i have written plays,. sketch comedy, films, stage shows, essays but I was never a copy writer ...I told myself I couldn't be. Don't do that to yourself. people lining up to tell you nope, you can't, don't help them, help yourself. Believe it, experience is so valuable, trust yourself and go after it. It will work out.

When I was very young--in my late teens and early twenties--I had some success with my writing (poems and short stories). I decided to make a career of creative writing and pursued it aggressively through college, grad school and beyond. In order to finance my passion I worked a wide and dismal variety of jobs, mainly as a receptionist for a number of different companies. I managed to get an agent and completed a novel that I thought was terrible but my agent seemed to think it held promise. We submitted it all over New York to no avail. Meanwhile, I placed in the finals of a couple of major literary contests--close but no cigar. Throughout this time, I considered returning to school and changing careers to something that engaged my mind and my soul, but I was on a kind of work treadmill, with bills and responsibilities, and so continued at my original administrative work. I failed miserably, both as a writer and as a receptionist--I was fired from something like eleven or twelve jobs in a row. I simply could NIT keep my mind on my work. It was far too boring and stagnating. If I had it to do over again I'd do something entirely different and wouldn't have wasted thirty years being semi-miserable and exhausted every fucking day of my precious life. Let this be a warning to aspiring writers out there: DON'T DO IT. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Whether I am creating media commercials, writing humorous short stories, articles, or just unraveling poetry from the midst of my mind, one will find that I can write with a multitude of different styles. Finding and delivering the style that fits uniquely within each client’s individual needs, is the challenge that I’m excitedly up for each day, all day...always.
That’s what I believe and if you need proof, then check out my website! You should be able to find everything you are looking for there (many satisfying samples, plenty of pleasing pictures, info on me... etc.) but if you can’t find something, just leave me a message; I'll most certainly reach out with answers to hopefully satisfy, ASAP.
And while there at the site, you can make a comment, a suggestion, give a shout out... whatever you want to do, to show me that you are serious business and that you and I, well… "We should talk business!”
Look forward to working together with an individual or team, on a powerfully positioned new project!
Most sincerely, Story

I've applied to multiple companies for many copywriter positions, but I already have many of my works completed, and they would fit a newspaper, blog, magazine type format. They are of a relevant nature, to a wide demographic. How do I get them sold, or published? Any and all information on the subject would be helpful. Ty...

Wish you had an EXCELLENT writer seasoned and tasty? When it comes to choosing a professional copywriter it's like choosing the experience you want at dinner. Sure, you can pay little and hit the nearest drive-through, but if you want a 5-star dining experience... why would you?
When it comes to hiring me, think of me as the delicious, well-prepared steak dinner at a great restaurant overlooking the ocean. That's how seasoned I am with digital marketing and every bit of content that goes into its creation. That's how seasoned I am with writing articles, ebooks, lead magnets, books for print publication, website content, sales pages, VSL scripts, and all those high-converting emails you need to send to your base.
Or you can hit a writer whose talents are more reflective of the nearest burger joint where you can take a seat at a table with a view of the parking lot. That writer might be okay, but it's not delicious.
If you're NOT serious about hiring a truly great writer, head over the Fiverr or eLance or any number of low-ball places online. I will not compete with the prices writers you find there will offer. That said, I won't charge you an arm and a leg, but I promise my compensation is expected to be fair and commensurate with my experience. My working with you starts with a conversation. (Though this post may have teeth, I promise I don't bite.)
So, I ask you... what are you in the mood for? Steak or a cheap burger and fries that's sure to give you indigestion?

I will write compelling copy for your business. I can blog and write articles as well.

Reading is my passion, and I would love to get paid for it. I would like to apprentice to an editor, read the slush pile, get training on the job, and learn the publishing industry. If anyone is interested in an ethical, curious, and motivated middle aged apprentice, please message me! I son't mind fetching lattes, composing rejection letters, and other task work. Give a lady a shot, would ya? Thanks much. Kate
